... Just what would an elder shaman be?

We... Hmm. I think, maybe, you can say we are here as the link between the living world and the spirit world. The ancestral spirits guide us, sometimes it is direct, sometimes in... in, ah... visions. And not only that, our job is also for keeping all the elements in balance and to get their aid for health and happiness of the whole tribe. Some of us are good for healing too, but I am better with the elements than medicine.

I do not know if that makes anything clearer...

So you say shamans are experienced in the magicks of the world?

Magicians who are one with spirits... perhaps like a ghost-type Pokemon?
