...Oh. There.
[As with her last broadcast, Aquenda has to back up from the camera before she's satisfied with how she looks on the monitor. At least it was a lot faster to get the feed going this time...]
Ah, er, yes. Hello again! Still I am unfamiliar with these devices. But, I think, after what just happened... this technology is better than the rest of it. I was lucky to have had somebody to help me. Him, a human, and me, a tauren, working together even here... I hope everybody else was able to... to, ah...
[She snaps her fingers a few times, looking to the side.]
...Co...compensate? Working together, that word. Doing that even in a stressful time, even with differences, is important, I think.
Still, I wish I could have done more to help. Being separate from all the elements like that, it made me feel a little weak. My strength is from them, so when I cannot speak with them... aah, I really must see this city's elder shaman! Where can I find them? Very thank you.

[ Goodness, that sounds more like something out of a fairy tale. Also, he can't help but note this one's appearance. This is a `tauren`? That sounds like something from folklore, too. His curiosity is definitely piqued. ]

Re: [ video ]
[ N has learned about a lot of things over the past year. Shamans were not one of them. ]
[ video ]
[Aww man, how does she explain this in the human tongue... There are so many phrases she learned growing up that don't even translate to Orcish well.]
We... Hmm. I think, maybe, you can say we are here as the link between the living world and the spirit world. The ancestral spirits guide us, sometimes it is direct, sometimes in... in, ah... visions. And not only that, our job is also for keeping all the elements in balance and to get their aid for health and happiness of the whole tribe. Some of us are good for healing too, but I am better with the elements than medicine.
I do not know if that makes anything clearer...
Re: [ video ]
Magicians who are one with spirits... perhaps like a ghost-type Pokemon?
[ How fascinating! Although that does make him realize that he might know what she is talking about. ] Does this mean you are looking for the Headmaster?
[ video ]
The Headmaster... is that the... hand?
Re: [ video ]
Ah- but it is not the subject at hand. Yes, the Headmaster is the hand, one of them. He is the one who is considerably less... spastic.
Re: [ video ]
Re: [ video ]
[ It's as close to a shaman as he can think of! ]
Re: [ video ]
Re: [ video ]
[ He pauses and then brings a hand to his mouth, the other settling upon his lap. ] Oh, I... do not believe we know each other yet, do we? [ Both hands now fold themselves on his legs, his expression cheery and inviting. ]
Who are you? What is your name?
Re: [ video ]
[She looks TOTALLY HORRIFIED that she forgot the most basic of things. WHOA RUDE.]
Um, my-- my name is Aquenda Tenderhoof, of the Argent Dawn, and, ah, I still am training to be a better shaman! Yes. Okay. [PHEW.] Now please to tell me your name also.
Re: [ video ]
Aquenda! What a darling name, although I cannot say I know what the Argent Dawn is... but ah, that does not matter now. My name is N.
[ He extends his hands outward, looking incredibly welcoming, however awkward it might have looked. ] It is a pleasure.
[ video ]
Just N? It will be very easy to remember for me.
[Speaking of things looking awkward, every try to see a big cow lady try to bow in a seat that's already too small for her? YEAH, it predictably ends up breaking. Aquenda crashes to the ground, and reappears on-screen about ten seconds later.]
...That was... a really bad idea... I will bow more properly if we meet in person.
[Haha she hopes she doesn't get in trouble for property damage...]
Re: [ video ]
Woahhh, that is the last thing he expects to see. His eyes widen, both hands flying up to his mouth in purest shock. ]
Are you alright?! That sounded as though it might have hurt...!
[ Wait, might have? ]
[ video ]
My life is a MMORPG. I can't feel a damn thing.Oh, ah... It's not so bad. I think the chair is worse than me right now.
...
Um. I think, m-maybe, I should find a carpenter and fix it before asking favours from the Headmaster.
Re: [ video ]
[ N, do you know how much chairs cost? I don't think so. ]
Re: [ video ]
Re: [ video ]
[ As fast as he's going and as soft as his voice is, he might be just a bit difficult to understand. ]
[ video ]
Re: [ video ]
I am not skilled in chair repair, but I may be able to try to lend a hand.
[ Except he'll probably suck at it. No, he WILL suck at it. Oh well. ]
Re: [ video ]
[She's helped set up tents her whole life so OBVIOUSLY IT IS THE EXACT SAME THING.]
Re: [ video ]
[ YEAH P. MUCH ]
Do you mean 'cooperate'..?
An elder shaman? I don't think I know what that is... I can help you look for them, though! If you tell me what to look for?
...Y-yes! That word. I knew mine sounded wrong... This language is frustrating sometimes.
You are the second person to ask. [That doesn't bode well.] Maybe it is a different word here? A spiritual leader for all this city's people.
[Video][ohmygod not gonna lie this is making me think about a Thrall...]
Yeah, learning it can be tough when you first start... but you'll get the hang of it! I'll gladly help if you need it!
Oh... uhm, I don't know much at all about spiritual things, I'm afraid... And I only got to this city a few days ago...
[Video] !!! THRALL. Doooo it dooo it
Aah, that's alright! I hope you got here after the... whatever even happened. We were trapped, there were Gnomish devices everywhere, it was not fun.
[Video] [aaaaaa I've never played him before! Ohgod the lore reading... ffffff]
The school was locked up tight when I got here... I couldn't figure out what was going on! And nobody else seemed to be very sure, either... Gnomish devices?
[Video] [At least Thrall has better lore than freakin Rhonin or whatever. >:|]
If ever you are hearing a voice in the halls saying we have to do testing, I say we should run out as fast as possible.
[Video][Or Illidan. Or -Malfurion-. Yikes there's a headache and a half.]
How would we tell the difference between bad testing and good testing, though? I'd hate to run away from a test we're supposed to take and wind up failing a class!
I have seen so much worse! Hahaha! ...Wait, that isn't funny. Uhh...
Anyway, you are fine also?
I don't think I introduced myself proper before. Name's Flint, I'm the repairman.
[video] [NOW WITH EDITS RELEVANT TO OTHER THREADS]
...Ah! My name is Aquenda. It is nice to meet you in a... much safer way now.
[Wait, repairman?]
Do you fix... chairs?
Re: [video] [NOW WITH EDITS RELEVANT TO OTHER THREADS]
Sure, I could take a look at it. What happened to it?
Re: [video]
...Err... [How does she say this without making herself sound fat... IT'S MUSCLE...] Iiiit was too small already, and I moved a bit, and it broke...
That shouldn't be a problem. I'll pick it up tomorrow and have it back in a few days.
[Reinforced for giant cow-people, of course.]

[[And damnation what was it again? Cyrus pauses for a few seconds, typing something.]]
bürgermeister, then? Assuming, of course, that you are of a land that uses such terms.
no subject
No, nothing like that, I think. Where I am from, ruling people have the name chieftain, warchief, elders, ah... Kings and queens for across the ocean... Mayor, I know I have heard, but do not know how to translate the closest word I can think of in my tongue. If he should be avoided, maybe there is no point...

Do my pretty, grey eyes deceive me? I can't offer even a microscopic shred of knowledge to who or where this 'shaman' cat you're trackin' is, but girl. Tell me those horns are legit.
no subject
O-oh, uh... They are very real! I wonder about yours too. A human with horns? I've never seen that!
[Besides warlocks with their dumb horn headband things, but that's not the same.]
no subject
Fo sho'? Aww yeah, you work 'em, girl!
[She even gives her a thumbs up to show just how awesome that is.]
As far as my own ace set of horns, I'm more of a pokemon than a Human, ya dig?
