All this idle time had made an old Pokemon itching to do something. Anybody want a swimming lesson down at the pool? Or just come and keep me company, but I know you'd all like a lesson.

[Either way, the Vaporeon can be found messing around at said pool, making waves now and then but mostly just swimming around and keeping himself strong and used to the water. The lack of it around campus is very unnatural. He needs to get someone to make a miniature pool in his room. Or maybe a fountain.

Jet also may or may not have made a slide out of ice that he's thoroughly enjoying launching off of and into the deeper parts of the pool. Running around is not advisable due to the cold, wet and occasionally frosted ground]

[ He might notice, juuuuuuust off in the distance, a pretty good walk from Stadium to pool, was a hedgehog about as blue as he was eyeballing the scene in front of him.

He said he would consider visiting, but it was obvious Sonic was still completely unsure of getting anywhere near Jet.

Given a minute or two, though, he starts to gradually make his way closer, closer, and even closer.

God, Sonic, you're pathetic, aren't you. ]

[He is totally pretending that he hasn't noticed Sonic. Jet busies himself climbing up to the top of his slide, backing up for a run-up, and charging at it, sliding down it on his belly and launch! He flips around in the air before splashing down into the water.

Jet stays under for a moment before spiralling up to the surface, making a miniature whirlpool in his wake and letting it pull him around a bit before it stops, leaving him facing the hedgehog. He grins and waves with a paw] Vapor~ [Excuse the lack of talking in this form]

[ Sonic stopped walking when Jet began to go nuts with the water, half expecting him to barrel the entire pool at his face like a truck. When nothing comes of it, he gets himself closer, offering up a smirk to hide his random paranoia. ]

That's pretty cool, actually. So you've got a stable control on water itself, huh? [ He laughs. ] That would make ya a pretty good swimming instructor.

[ And he's not worried too much about speech. He's dealt with plenty of Chao, after all! ]

[The Pokemon chuckles at that, and right before Sonic's eyes, literally turns into water, diving under and disappearing totally for a little while.

Before squirting a thin jet of water at Sonic's face.

Jet laughs as he reappears, swimming lazily at the edge of the pool and smiling. Control over water, he certainly has. No one would ever come to harm in a pool he was swimming in. They might get pranked once or twice harmlessly though]

[ At first, Sonic is fascinated, watching Jet in his (literal) element, eyes following him with his stellar reflexes and appreciating what his abilities had to offer. How cool was that? It reminded him of the feeling Wisps would give him, and wondered if it was the same.

Jet was a... Pokemon, right? Hah. Definitely impressed...! ]

[Heeey Jet old buddy old pal. Don't mind if Casey spends half the time snoozing next to or even on top of your ice slide. It's too hot out for her liking.]

[He doesn't mind, though she might get a little wet from him climbing up it while soaking to make another launch into the pool.

He's so tempted to push her down that ramp too...so tempted. Hmmmmmm...]

[Unfortunately for her, her own mind is too dead from the heat to even bother reading others. This makes her an easy target. Although she seems to be favouring the few splashes and water drops that land on her otherwise.]

He wonders if it's possible to sleep through sliding down an ice slide]

[Oh. It's the Squirtle from before. Except there's a distinctive pair of tufts on the top of his head that certainly wasn't there the last time he'd spoken to Jet.

Marie, later in the day, is lurking at the edge of the pool. He hasn't dipped his toes in yet, but he's watching the Vaporeon and trying not to look like a total creep.]

[Jet doesn't mind being watched, he's more than used to it. He recognises Marie from under the water, noticing the tufts and realising that he might've evolved. He also remembers the shyness, so instead of swimming over, he surfaces a short distance away and waves at the other water type]

[Marie hesitates, but waves back. Tentatively and slowly, the Wartortle finds a spot to sit at the very edge of the pool and slips his legs into the cool water. Quietly, he asks;]

Am I disturbing you, or whatever?

Not at all. I rather like having company, personally. Not that I'm a people person, but it's nice to have someone nearby. [He idly rolls onto his back, otter-like, and floats lazily]

[Nephenee had said she wanted to come learn, so come she did, wearing a modest teal and brown mottled swimsuit. Coming up to the pool, she smiled as she watched Jet flip in the air and splash into the pool. She might have even clapped a little.]

[Blue always gets approval from him, as does clapping. Jet sticks his head out and grins, waving with his tail and swimming over] Por~

[Nephers grins even harder and sits beside him.]

Hiya, Mr. Jet! You look like you're having a grand ol' time!

[She holds out a hand. Would he accept pettings?]

[Do you know who loves puppies? Blue loves puppies. She loves puppies even when they are technically long past the point of puppydom, but shhh. Puppies in her heart.

She was just going to marvel at your icy handiwork there, Jet.]

[Ahhh, the perks of knowing Ice Beam. He watches in amusement from the water before calling out a greeting] Vaporeon.

[[Cyrus normally despised swimming pools. He hated swimming, for that matter, his youth having been spent in a city where the water was a primary draw with none considering the ramifications of treating it so mindlessly. But it was so uncomfortably, itchingly, meltingly hot that he couldn't help but require something to cool off. A trip to the clothing store later, he showed up at the pool in a brand new set of swim trunks (dark blue, with little stars on them) and a plain towel, which he slung over a chair and headed for the water]]

[Oh hey he sort of recognises you from the network. Jet watches from the top of the ice slide before shrugging to himself and launching down and into the water again happily. He can share the pool]

[[Cyrus started doing backstroke laps, being a far stronger swimmer than his thin frame would indicate. Though he seemed unwilling to put his face in the water. Someone want to help him out with that?]]
