[After her second day teaching class, Katherine is sitting by herself in the cafeteria, staring blankly down at her phone. She looks slightly torn, but after a deep breath she presses a few buttons, shuts her phone and then goes back eating her lunch.]

[Private to Vincent]
Hey... We still need to talk. I'm sorry that I left in such a rush last Tuesday. I've thought some things over since then, and I'm ready to give it another try whenever you are. Just let me know.

[Private to Sable]
Hello, Sable. I was wondering if you would be interested in joining me for coffee later this afternoon.

[Private to Kanji]
Hey, Kanji. If you’re not too busy, would you mind contacting your friend for me? I could use some help for next week’s assignment.

[Being the insightful person he is, Kojiro notices the expression on her face. Although it isn't any of his business, it would be a good time to introduce himself to a fellow staff member.]

Ah, hello... I do apologize for interupting your lunch but... you are one of the new teachers, yes?

[A couple of seconds pass before she responds--she's staring pretty intently down at the table.

And then something in her brain processes that someone is talking to her and she forces herself back to reality and quickly turns her attention up to him.]

Oh, I'm sorry.

[She offers him a smile.]

Yes, I am.

[Kojiro returns the smile]

It is a pleasure to meet you then, Miss. I am Kojiro, the school's psychiatrist. My office is open to students and staff members alike.

[Funny, she could probably use a psychiatrist about now.]

Ah, well that's good to know. It's a pleasure to meet you too.

[She stands up and extends her hand toward him.]

I'm Katherine McBride and I teach fashion design.

[He takes her hand and gently shakes it]

Fashion design... perhaps I will have to stop in. I'm rather clueless about clothes.

I don't know how much insight I could give you. Designing clothes can be fairly difficult.

[She chuckles.]

But you're more than welcome to stop in.

I suppose even tips of fashion would help...

[She nods.]

Oh yes. There will be plenty of those.

Ah, good. I appreciate it.

I hope they're of some use to you.

[She smiles and goes to sit down again.]

So do you get a lot of people coming to you with their problems?

[Kojiro joins her since... why continue to stand while they talk?]

Not as many as I expected, honestly.

Hmm... Really? That's a little surprising considering how stressful school can be.

I suppose they do not like discussing their problems to others.

That could be.

[Heaven knows that she sure didn't.]

Which is... saddening, in a way. But I do not want to force those who do not wish to open up to do so.

[But enough of the depressing-ish topic]

Hn.. How have you enjoyed your stay here so far, Miss Katherine?

That's understandable.

[Aw. Poor guy.]

So far, so good. I do like it here.
