[video] A spectacle with spectacles
[Greetings Smashabitants. "Seth" presents to you today looking rather chipper and warm in his big, plushy scarf. Pink, yes, but the freckled blonde wears it well. Brings out the red in his eyes, it does.]
It's that time of the year again, isn't it? Flowers are trying in vain to peek their little heads through the snow and not get crushed underfoot, your RAs like miss Zelda busy hanging those adorably tacky heart-shaped banners and garlands everywhere, local murderers and being detained in our school, and yes, even love might be in the air!
[He clasps his hands together and props them under his chin with a dreamy sigh.]
It sounds like a perfect time to do something special in Host Club, doesn't it? This is your friendly reminder that this week's meeting will be in celebration of Valentine's Day and the theme will be glasses. Not fancy drinking glasses but the fashionable kind you wear on your face. I believe the proper term is "Meganekko", or something like that. Couples get extra snacks and desserts on the house!
[A thoughtful pause. He's a very thoughtful boy, really.]
...Well, I'm sure the world won't hold it against you or anything if you happen to be miserable and alone this year--just commercialism and the populous in general, and what have they ever done for you anyway, mm?
Unruly and violent pyromaniacs need not apply to Host Club, as always. Blaze.
Speaking of that though, I've got a bit of a brain-tickler for you, dear viewer. Hasn't anyone ever wondered why the school's stadium seems pre-programed with so many fantastic battling "areas"? Areas that, correct me if I'm wrong, often include the homelands of many people here before they ever arrived~?
And I suppose all the usual shenanigans like space carnivals and showy murderers these cupid bots everyone is expecting go without saying--everyone's become just so compliant and thoughtless to expect strange things to happen around here.
Or maybe it's just me!
Anyway, see you in Host Club--Room AE-13. Theme is glasses. Don't forget~

[He sure as heck programmed in that fake Ultimate Chimera that attacked him way back when, anyway.]
But I guess it is pretty sad when we just take the weird stuff for granted, huh...
Do they have to be a specific style of glasses?
no subject
Oh yes, many people take many things for granted~
Specific style? Like yours? You'll fit right in.

[AND THEN. He realizes he's just rambling. So he adjusts his glasses and looks away.]
Uh, sorry. What were we talking about? The host thing. Um, yeah, if my glasses are fine then I guess I'll do it...

There are very powerful beings here. Likely it is a power of theirs, one as yet undefined.
Perhaps you ought to join me in a renewed investigation of these powers.
I have held the power of divinity in the palm of my hand. Such things, though rare, are known in my homeland. They are no mystery.

Either some kind of power energy lurks here and draws them in, or vice-versa.
That power--It's like trying to hold onto water though, isn't it?
