[It took Celebi two weeks to realize she had never done an introduction to the rest of the school after sweet dance parties. Whoops! Well, no big deal. She just went backwards a bit to rectify the situation. Yeah! So here we are with a text entry. November 1st. Right on time. Excellent.]

Oooo! I was always really curious about what it was like over here, and now I know! Or I'm going to know! This is very very exciting!! Hello! I'm a transfer from Square-Enix academy! It doesn't seem like a whole lot of us have come over here, huh? I wonder why! It seems like a fun place! That was a super neat party you guys had, and all the egg decorations are kind of exotic I guess??

What should I be looking forward to here? Anything special? I guess dress up parties aren't the norm but is there anything else? Do you have any warnings for me? Are we allowed to use the green house? I really hope so, cause it looks reaaaally nice in there. Nice and warm. Everything looks so snug~!

[It was another moment or two before Celebi suddenly blinked and gave a rousing little shake. She gave a quick turn, bright eyed and aware as she looked over at him.]

Yes?

[Yeah this was a common occurrence to get used to.]

[Blink. Vinnie retracted back a step. Guess that was normal for her, then.

Welcome back, Celebi. That little Bulbasaur grew up and got cynical. He furrowed his brows, half in worry and half in discomfort.]

Nevermind. Y'just went... [Pause. He was being stupid.] Nevermind.

[Alas, the tragedy of age. Yet age had made his sweetness more profound. He was one and the same, even if they weren't snuggled up under the sun anymore.]

No, go ahead!

[She scooted back over to him, boldly taking his hands in hers. The pixie wore a soft smile, a bit different from the playful ones she had been sporting earlier.]

Did I bother you? I'm sorry. [A rare apology.] It happens sometimes.

[More blinking on Vinnie's part. She seemed a little different, suddenly... or perhaps it was that her demeanor had changed and he couldn't account for why.

His hands in hers. It felt like it should've been a profound moment, but he simply didn't know what to do with it.]

Nah, you were just spacin' out...

[She nodded.] Mmhm. Someone was saying hello in Ilex.

[Actually true! It wasn't as endearing as a trip to an island was in the slightest, but it had been happening. Celebi hadn't found that visit nearly as interesting as this one though. She admired the juxtaposition of their hands for a moment. They were opposites in nearly every way, but they still fit quite nicely.]

Have you ever been there?

[Oh. She actually did sense people in Ilex. Vinnie had always thought that wasn't possible. After all, the gods didn't have time to listen to everyone who had something to ask of them. Prayers weren't always heard. Wishes weren't granted. And bad things happened to everyone, regardless whether they were good or evil.]

Once. When Red was doin' the Johto League.

[It was arguable over which Celebi was the main Celebi: the one snoozing in her little forest box or the one slipping her smaller fingers through broad ones just to see how it looked. Nothing happened in Ilex without her knowing, that's just how it was. So she looked a bit thoughtful for a second, trying to sort through the images of people that had passed through.

It'd be easier if she had tried to commit more of them to memory.]

And Red is... Your trainer then? That's what those leaguey things are for I think...
