Goodness, I am terribly sorry, everyone. It appears as though my entry never made it to the network back when I first arrived. I thought it did... There's a chance I never got around to finishing it, though. It is no wonder I never received any notifications on the entry -- because it did not exist! Haha, how silly of me.

I have been at Smash Academy before (for approximately a year, in fact!) but I returned to Ilia to stay with my family for a while. I was not sure when I would return, so I withdrew from the school during late summer. But here I am, back again! Good old Canas, just the way he was before. That's my name, if we have never had the opportunity to meet... In fact, let this be something of a reintroduction and, perhaps, a new beginning. If this is the case, well... Hey there!

I have not been doing very well at keeping up with that New Year's resolution I made for myself... I told myself to do a better job at keeping track of things. Even though I returned during early October I have failed to keep up-to-date on this neat-o technology network. Maybe I'll skim a little, but let me know if there is something that needs my attention.

Hey! Welcome back!

...you really should get an electrical diary. I bet if you had a computer screaming at you to do things, you wouldn't forget, tee hee hee!

Your family?

[THIS PERTAINS TO HIM. IN A WEIRD ROUNDABOUT WAY.]

... I see. How was your stay? Were your parents there?

lmfao niime...

[identity profile] surpass.livejournal.com 2011-11-11 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
... What other way would you put it when you mean reclusive?

To have a wife and son sounds nice, although I wouldn't know what it feels like. [He doesn't really intend to procreate when and if he ever gets together with someone. except he and riley did in the form of a pokemon egg already i mean what]

[identity profile] surpass.livejournal.com 2011-11-11 03:25 pm (UTC)(link)
It must be a nice feeling. [Not that he'd know at this point in time, but... yeah!]

But why must she be harsh to her child? Does she treat you well?

[identity profile] surpass.livejournal.com 2011-11-12 02:15 pm (UTC)(link)
[That is the last thing he expected, honestly. The very last thing. Ghetsis was severe with him, very severe, yet he didn't give him a chance after. It was all betrayal. He cut ties. He despised him.

...

That isn't to say Canas made him change his mind. It'd take a lot to change his mind about his father. Now, though, it was beginning to make him wonder whether or not he still cared for him. Probably not, but you know.
]

I see. So your mother still cares for you, yet she is harsh. Why does she hold such high expectations? Does she want you to be the best for your own sake? [That could make sense.]

[identity profile] surpass.livejournal.com 2011-11-13 01:59 pm (UTC)(link)
[That made more sense to him, yet he still had a bad feeling that her aspirations could turn to be something nasty. Ghetsis was the same way- 'concerned' for his well-being and displaying it in wanting him to be the best there ever was with Pokemon, yet look at how that ended.]

You sound very gracious, yet you could be too gracious. Some parents can be manipulative with ulterior motives, and you may not be able to figure that out until it's too late.

[He almost typed, "I would know," but he didn't want to openly discuss that, so he refrained.]

Just ensure that your magic is only used for good. Now... what is your 'elder magic' capable of? [He's curious, especially by how they're 'dark tomes'.]

[identity profile] surpass.livejournal.com 2011-11-14 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
You can never be too sure. Some parents can conceal their motives very well by sugarcoating things. [He refuses to believe Niime is okay until he meets her one day. 8|]

Now, your magic. You seem full-aware of the risks. What do you do when you feel the temptation? Succumbing to that would surely plague not only you, but everyone around you.

[That kind of flabbergasts him now. He agreed that he was right, yet he still seemed so chipper and optimistic about the state of the families as a whole, and probably about his own. At the same time, he seemed to hold the tongue of a knowledgeable man. His speech gave this impression.]

... Then I cannot argue with you further either. All I ask is for you to remain on your feet on whatever subject, parental figures or magic. You never know what may happen. It could all fail unexpectedly.

[And in his heart, he knew that if this person was alright, he didn't want anything bad to befall them. In fact, he doesn't know this man, does he?]

So you are Canas. Are you a student?

[identity profile] surpass.livejournal.com 2011-11-15 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
Not at all.

It seems that you have a way of learning. If only all humans could be so receptive.

Now, you are the librarian, yes? I do wonder why I haven't seen you yet. I go to the library very often. [Study, study, study. It never ends, and he likes it that way.] I am N. Expect to see me at least a few times a week.

[identity profile] surpass.livejournal.com 2011-11-15 04:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Perhaps. The library is very extensive; even larger than mine at home.

[he had the best library in his castle man it was pretty big]

Yes, that is my name. I find it simple and concise. I need nothing outlandish and long to present myself.

[identity profile] surpass.livejournal.com 2011-11-16 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Not... quite. My father was the one who named me, but I felt the need to keep my name as short as possible.

[He preferred it over people calling him 'Natural', although there is nothing wrong with this name either.]

[identity profile] surpass.livejournal.com 2011-11-18 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. Exactly. I feel the subject may seem pretty trite, but I did give it a large amount of thought.

[Then again, most of his childhood was spent just sitting, reading, and thinking. Endlessly. He had his playtime, but even as just a little boy, all he wanted to do was learn, learn, learn.]

[identity profile] surpass.livejournal.com 2011-11-18 05:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Hm, that is fine. Rarely do I see people care about names very much, so I see it as 'trite' in the case of them, yet in my case...

Ah, that's nothing I would like to speak of now.

[identity profile] surpass.livejournal.com 2011-11-19 04:32 pm (UTC)(link)
... I see. Then we, too, are fine.

Thank you. Expect me in the library tomorrow night.

[Okay, Canas, you're cool in his book. HAHAHA GET IT BOOK I'M SO FUNNY]
