[Video/Action]

[Boxes and bags and a slight mess can be seein in the background when the feed cuts in. A light, cheery tune can be heard in the distance before it stops when a possibly familiar face plops on the chair in front of the feed and wipes their forehead.]

Hey ya'll! Sorry I didn' take the time ta say I was on my way back, but hey, what better way than now during unpackin'?! Got a new room this time 'round tho we all know how them dorms like switchin' it up on us erry now an' then. So, for now, if you wana come on down an' say hello, feel free ta pass by BW eight!

Especially those folk who know I always want ta know if they're okay and fine. Don't make me come to yer rooms now y'hear?

[She smiled and blew a kiss at the camera.]

[And with a wave, she cuts the video. Still marked as online if anyone wants to chat, audio, video and what have you. Or you can pass by the room! In any case, she seemed as welcoming as always. Hello, you were all missed.]

[Jolt had to consciously try not to let his mouth water at the thought of the delicious foods...]

I'll have what she's having, only swap the veal pops for chicken tenders and barbecue sauce!

[When the waiter gave them an odd look and left with their order, Jolt smirked.]

It IS a party after all!

Is it?

Whut are we celebratin' then? [Riwane asked with a mock confused look before she chuckled.]

Y'didn't have ta do all a this fer me hon. But I appreciate tha meal. And the company ain't half bad. [She stuck her tongue out at him playfully.]

A reunion! [He laughed in response, lifting his glass of water.]

I know I didn't, but I wanted to. I said before, you're important to me, and I missed you.

[There was a lot he wanted to tell her. About the feelings he had for her, and how her absence had made him realize them all the more. He wanted to tell her. But he just had to wait for the right chance. He had no idea how to tell WHEN that chance was, but he hoped he'd figure it out in time.]

[Riwane laughed and held her glass up too and clanked it lightly against his.]

To a reunion then. [And she took a long sip of her drink.]

That's mighty nice a ya hon, an' I know it ta be true. I certainly missed ya too! Who wouldn't miss that adorable rambunctious sparkbutt a yours? [She laughed and smiled warmly again.]

It's nice ta be back, can't say it enuff.

I know, right? I'm amazing! Who wouldn't miss me?

[Jolt laughed again as they were brought their first course of meats: big plates of ribs.]

Couldn't agree more. But enough sentimentality for now. There's food to be eaten, and we're not getting any younger!

[Riwane chuckled.] Now don' you go gettin' a bigger head than ya got now.

[And then the food arrived and Riwane's sharp, toothy grin couldn't be bigger. If that food would have been alive? It would definitely be fearing for its life right now.]

Oh man am I ready ta dig inta this!

[And so she did!]

It's too late for me. I already know I'm awesome.

[He was quick to join in, gnawing hungrily on the ribs before him.]

What did I tell ya? Best ribs in town here!

[Riwane chuckled, a bit lightly since her mouth was full of deliciously decadent meat.]

Wouldn't say t'best, but this sure are sum darn good ribs! Definitely top five fur sure!

All right then, next time we go out, you pick the place! Now I've GOTTA see how your top five stacks up!

Fair enuff, can't go speakin' if I ain't gonna back it up! An' boy do I got a few places I will totally vouch fur!

Always on the lookout for a good steakhouse. Bet Char would love to try some of them out too!

[Riwane smiled]

It'd be real nice ta git a group to go for a fun nite on the town. Would love it if Char came along too! [Because it was no secret the young firetail had admiration of the big gragon in school.]

I'd love that too. Just make a big party out of it!

[He wouldn't have minded Char coming along, and he was aware at least to some degree of Char's feelings towards Riwane. And vice-versa. That all being said...]

Course there's something to be said for, y'know, one on one nights out too...

[Jolt. Jolt that was so not smooth, he mentally berated himself. This was what happened when you went into a situation without a solid plan.]

[School Days I mean, yeah!]

One on one? Ya askin' fur a fite? [Riwane teased, grinning mischievously before laughing.]

Yeah, I know what'cha mean. Having time to just enoy the company of one other in peace is one'uv a kind.

Hey, you know I'd never turn down a fight, but yeah. It is pretty nice. You know. To spend time with someone you like...

[Jolt no. Stop. Freudian slips much?]

It's always nice ta spend any kinda time with those who you care for, for those who mean a lot to ya yeah. I can totally git behind that fur sure.

[It was pretty much all she did! Or tried to!]

[Jolt was having a harder and harder time trying not to say something stupid, or make her think he was weird. At least, that's how he perceived it. So far she gave no indication that he was screwing anything up, but he felt it, and that made it all the worse. He looked at her smiling face, and felt his heart skip a beat. It had only gotten worse now, and he wanted so much to just blurt out his feelings. But he had to play it cooler than that. This was just another challenge to conquer. He could do this. Well, he wanted to wait, but he would probably explode if he held it in any longer, so here went nothing...]

Totally. Hey, um, on that note, there's something I kinda wanted to talk to you about.

[He tried his best to remain confident and perky, but he had such little experience in this area he couldn't help showing a hint of nervousness. Inside he was totally kicking his own ass.]

[Any signs of Jolt being in a tussle with the situation didn't come to Riwane's notice. Instead she seemed to be as chill and happy as she generally was around him.]

Hm? Whatsup hon?

[She looked at him in her usual spunky demeanor. Maybe he wanted to plan something out?!]

[She wasn't that far off, actually. Her demeanor hadn't changed at all. So far so good.]

There was something I'd been meaning to tell you for a while, and after you left, it just made me realize I'd missed my chance. Now that you're back though, I feel like if I don't tell you now, I might miss the chance again, and if that happened I'd kick my own ass for being so stupid--

[He was rambling. Focus, Jolt. Focus.]

Er, sorry. See, the thing is, I... uh...

[No, don't get cold feet now...!]

[Riwane listened to him ramble and had to chuckle a bit, now a tad confused too.]

Oi hon, whatever it is y'need ta tell me you know you can rite? I've told ya before, I'm here fur ya! An' c'mon, even if I was ta leave fur a while... You got my number don't you? An' you could always come visit an' stuff silly.

[She smiled brightly at him.]

Yeah, I know. I don't know why I'm having such a hard time saying it...

[He could freely admit at least that to himself. He knew how he felt when he was around her, when he was hanging out with her, when they just sat and chatted like this... The only problem was making himself tell her. If he did, it could hurt the friendship they had, and that would be worse than anything else. If he didn't, it would just gnaw at him. Whatever happened, he had to make a choice. He just hoped he'd be able to live with the choice he finally made.]

...I like you, Riwane. As in I've got a huge crush on you and think about you all the time like I'm gonna explode, that kinda like.

[Well, now to wait for disaster to strike.

[Riwane had to admit, this side of Jolt was incredibly adorable. Seeing him fumble around with whatever thoughts he had made her smile warmly at him. Which was fine and all until he let it know what this whole hubub was about and then she looked a bit concerned, understanding how it could have caused him to act like that.]

Oh hon...

[Riwane couldn't help but chuckle. It was a sweet, red-faced, but honest-to-gods good chuckle. She moved forward slightly and held Jolt's hand in her own and looked over at him.]

That's what had ya in such a tussle? You didn't have ta worry so much 'bout that. I mean... [She laughed a bit and shook her head.] I ain't gunna tell ya you shouldn't have worried so much, I mean, they're yer feelins' an' I care 'bout them all the same...

[Let her not start rambling herself here.]

I appreciate you tellin' me an' if I were ta be completely honest, I do care, tons 'bout ya. In more then a friend kinda way. I woulda hoped that much was shown whenever we're together an' all.

[Though Riwane was always pretty open about her feelings and she wasn't one to limit herself either. There were a couple of people who'd she'd give her all, body, mind and soul to and would protect them because she cared about them more than anything.]

You do?

[Outside, Jolt looked surprised to hear her so readily admit she had some feelings for him in return. Inside, he was doing fistpumps and cheering up a storm. A smile cracked on his lips that just kept getting bigger and bigger as the reality of it sank in. He knew what Riwane was like. He knew she had a big heart, and knowing that he had a spot in it was more exciting than he could express.]

Well I mean yeah, we've always had such a great time together, no matter what we've been doing, but I always thought-- I mean, I didn't realize--

[He shook his head.]

What the heck am I going on about now? Man, you have no idea how good it feels to say that and hear that... I was so worried things were gonna get weird and all that, but damn! It's like everything got lighter!

[Riwane had to crack up a little. He sure was an adorabutt.]

Really? C'mon, I mite be nice ta erryone but that don't mean I git this close, like you an' I.

[Smiling broadly at him, she leaned over and ruffled his hair.] Yeah, very few people got that kind of dedication from me, an' yer definitely there. A special place like none other.

[A place where, again, she gave her all to.]

[Jolt's grin reached critical mass. He was so stoked it was unbelievable. It was really happening! She liked him back!

He laughed at her hair ruffle, and when she finished, he slid over in the booth to sit next to her. Fortunately it was plenty big enough for the two of them to do that.]

Yeah, I know you're a nice person! You're one of the nicest people I know! Makes it really hard NOT to feel for you, you know?
