There's puke all over the staircase t'the boy's dorm. And in the student kitchen. In the fountain, too - just so everyone's aware.

I know I'm usually known for barfin' on people, but I've done no throwin' up or fighting for weeks. So... s'kinda surreal that it wasn't me this time, bein' Poison Type an' all. Haven't had problems with Nancy's food, either, so I hope he's not gonna take the brunt of the blame for the sick.

Anyone who can't get out've bed cuz they're not feeling well, I could make some runs t'the drug store or PokeMart or somethin'. Half my classes've been cancelled anyway, so I have the time.

Made an extra pitcher of Pecha Berry tea, too - it's in the fridge if anyone wants some. I hear it's good for shit like settlin' stomachs.

...Oh, microwave's not working, though. On account've being vomited on.

Oh, a while. I had Sludge Bomb in my moveset a long time - it was pretty much the only thing I could use, a few years back. I've gotten pretty good at projectile vomiting in a fight. Gotta train for distance and accuracy.

It's not pretty, but it works.

Oh, I dunno about that. Pokemon can spew fire or water out've their mouths all day an' no one blinks an eye. Who knows where all that water even comes from, too...

I wouldn't be much've a fighter if I was grossed out by my own typing. Plus, it works t'my advantage if the opponent thinks it's disgusting - that's just how Poison works. I'll take any edge I can get.

I guess right now, having that poison background is the most helpful. Everyone else can suffer—or those without it—and you can come to the rescue.

[But a psychic type is strong against poison while the faerie type is weak to it. But Voile's ability to examine emotional well being helps her determine who to avoid.

Ideally, I'd rather not have everyone suffer. But it's nice t'feel like I can do something for once. Probably could use some work on the bedside manner, though.

Come to think of it... Has anyone figured out yet whether this is a flu thing, or a food thing? I think I remember some kinda bug bein' passed around last December, but it definitely didn't hit this many people.

I wish I knew. Maybe it's because we have the power of foresight? But then you'd think that we were resilient against all types and I know that isn't the case, even though I've never really participated in battles.

[Voile shook her head as he continued, plunged into her own kind of thought.]

I thought it was just a random sickness, actually. Like a cold. And the health books say that sicknesses can mutate over time, so it's entirely possible for a sickness to travel the student quarters and having changed enough by the time it returns to the person who originally caught it, they could catch it again.

Because of the change in the structure. Or something. The book made more sense than I do, honestly.

God help us if all Psychics were that tough. I hate fighting'em as it is already, the way they get in my head... no offense. I swear, I get headaches for days afterwards.

I don't remember it bein' as bad back in the day, when I was just an Ivysaur. Not that I ever had great psychic defenses. Maybe it's the humanization that makes it linger a bit longer?

[That, and maybe a particularly bad run-in with a Hypno. But he wasn't going to mention that.]

Who knows. Definitely no studies on that one.

Considering how varied humanization gets for every Pokemon, that might not be the rule. S'probably different for everyone, just like how human-lookin' we become.

Yes. True. Everyone reacts differently. To illnesses. To other types. There are undoubtedly many things for me to consider. I'm not certain how I missed that before. I'm unsure what I'd do without you, Vincent.

I don't know if I did that much. Nothing you probably couldn't've figured out on your own, anyway. There's more t'being bright than bein' able to memorize whole textbooks.

There is, naturally. Yet the information you just gave me is a bit more than textbook knowledge. In my opinion, that should have been common sense. Especially for a psychic type. Therefore, you've opened my eyes to something I was blind to before. That's all I meant.

Haha, I was once! I accidentally ate a bunch of Shadow Bugs and Max had to take me to get my stomach pumped! Probably, it was one of the worst days of my whole life so far.
