Ghost Trick
[Gordon addresses the network, but there seems to be something wrong with the video feed. It sputters and fizzles, revealing the physics teacher's face in staccato flashes and tantalizing half-syllables. Then he strangles the frequency into something more cooperative with a scowl.]
[...are those calipers and test-tubes floating behind him? What's with the eerie echoey cackle? Gordon either doesn't notice these things or, more likely, is trying hard to PRETEND he doesn't notice them.]
I realize there are a couple of Pokemon trainers out there, and I'd like to ask some advice. My Rotom, Maxwell, is acting up again. It's probably the time of year, but he's also out-grown his COMP and I realize I ought to--
[AND SUDDENLY IT'S PICTOCHAT, as a big red squiggle appears over the video image of Gordon, giving him a bowtie and crazy mad scientist hair. He hits the DELETE button and it vanishes. Then a clown nose appears. More cackling.]
--properly train him before he gets out of control.
[He says, as above his head the little ghost pokemon draws a big red--]

Well... uh. Alright. Maxwell, you can hear me, I'm pretty sure of it. I know you came here because the lab gives you plenty of current to eat, but what else would you want?
[There's a relative silence in the humming of machinery, and a clink of a pyrex glass dropped by ghostly lands somewhere. Apparently this is making him really think... The red squiggle then begins to draw little creatures, what look like the old shadow bugs they'd tangled with this summer. Then a stick-figure Gordon (complete with beard, glasses what's obviously an submachine gun in his hands. He's been playing too many FPS games with that pokemon.) and a simplistic rotom on the other side with plenty of lightning squiggles aimed at the bad guys, ready to fight. HE WANTS TO DO GOOD AND HELP PROTECT THE LAB AND FIGHT THE BAD GUYS WITH YOOOOU.]
...Uh. [Gordon is actually speechless, gaping at the artwork for a moment.]

Maybe you can put a notion to rest for me. From what I understand, capturing him is sort of a first step. How does that work, exactly?
[Because Gordon hasn't heard anything he likes about that so far.]

Hmmm... There are different ways to go about it, but your case is a bit unique since you don't actually have a Pokemon...
[But the ghost was drawing epic battles and responding to a nickname that Blue assumed Gordon had given it. She tapped her chin lightly.]

When I mentioned it on the network back then, Naoya gave me a COMP. He isn't exactly a demon and couldn't be captured the way that they could, but he seemed to like the games on it so that's where he lived for a while.
