[Something doesn't seem right...]

...Mm.

[All things considered, he doesn't look as perplexed as he perhaps ought to. This probably means upon waking up, he spent a lot of time staring at himself in the mirror.]

I seem to have run into some difficulty.

[While it'd be comical if he kept his soft and delicate voice, it's not quite like that. Whatever the case, he addresses what's really important at a time like this.]

I cannot fit into my dresses.

No rush. I don't think I'm heading out on any strolls in the near future. At least, not without some decent wear.

[He pauses momentarily.]

Thanks, Bulba.

No problem.

[Voile gets another grin and a little wave before Bulba reached to turn the feed off. She... he?... Might have said it wasn't a rush, but feeling unable to head out anywhere felt suffocating to Bulba. The Venusaur didn't waste any time picking out a few things from what he still had as an Ivysaur and from his Venusaur lot, since he wasn't sure which size would work best.

Gosh he didn't have much of anything that seemed nice enough for Voile to pick out himself. Oops. Oh well, practicality was probably more important.

It didn't take an incredibly long time before there was a muffled knock at Voile's door from one of Bulba's vines, since his arms had. An amount. In them.]

[He wasn't going to say it so outright like that, but Bulba hit it pretty square on the head. Voile didn't want to get stuck inside all the time. Maybe if it was winter. But it was summer and they were on break from classes. Man or woman, he wanted to enjoy what time he had, with the people he could. And all of that sounded so much more sentimental than he wanted to come off as.

The knock was a welcome sound with welcome company behind it. He moved to answer it, and after a moment's pause, waved Bulba in.]

You brought a lot more than I expected. You didn't have to do that.

[Bulba blinked when he realized he had to look up. He was so used to Voile being much shorter than him that he had been looking down in the doorway and only got an eyeful of manvoile chest instead of a petite head.]

Ha ha, well, I wasn't sure what size you'd need... Definitely not the Ivysaur sizes, I guess.

[So he held the clothes draped on his left arm a bit closer to himself, making the others more welcoming.]

I... I think you got a little taller than me, but the length of the pants should be alright. It's kind of too hot for sweaters, but they're what I have most of so I grabbed some along with some t-shirts.

Uh. Voile?

[Excellent manvoile chest.]

...I'm a bit taller than I'm used to. So like I said, nothing I have fits. I guess all my dresses would be partially ripped and hang just above--

[Uhhhh.]

You know.

[He gave Bulba's clothes a look over. The ones he was offering, at any rate.]

Huh. Anything is good. The season doesn't matter. Hopefully they'll be something I can wear. You mind if I try any of them on? You can tell me if they look all right.

[This is kind of embarrassing now.]

Brock, right? This really wasn't on my list of things to experience, if I'm honest.

Oh. I mean, I guess that's good. [Surprising, actually. When Vinnie turned female, he felt agitated for every second of it. At least this worked out in Voile's favour though - like, she (he?) wasn't freaking out or anything.]

[He stepped into the dorm since, well, the Venusaur wasn't sure if this was something Voile wanted to keep under wraps at the moment. Privacy was a good idea when it came to changes like this.]

You run into any problems yet? Y'know... biologically?

[If you really needed someone to show you how to pee, then... well, what were friends for??? But he was hoping this wouldn't be the case.]

[Bulba gave Voile and her manvoile chest an appraising look for a moment.]

Hmm... Well, Max hasn't gotten a hold of you, so you should actually be able to fit into most of these. I think we're about the same broadness, but you've got less chest and arms to worry about.

[Which was not said as a bad thing at all. While Bulba wasn't as boxy as Vinnie had gotten, it was still a fact that he worked out and just ended up bigger. He grinned at Voile some more.]

You're gonna make all of these look way better than they do on me, I bet. Go right ahead.

Uh... Should I go outside or. [He made a motion with his arm.] I could turn around?

[What was the appropriate action here. Please instruct him.]

[What?]

[No.]

[...No! REALLY? Oh gods, she's a boy! She's a... hot boy! How the heck does she manage to be pretty no matter what?!]

Voile?! That's not... Is that you?

[If he was a girl, that would answer that question easily. Selfishly, somewhere deep, deep inside, somewhere in a place Voile would never admit, he wanted to show off. Why? Because it was new to him, perhaps. Because he wasn't accustomed to it. Because laced in with that confidence was a slight bit of arrogance.

When you knew you looked good and had nothing to be insecure about, didn't that make you want to demonstrate that? Feel good about yourself instead of feeling like you need to hide from the spotlight. Normally Voile would have shied away like no tomorrow, but for a plethora of reasons, he didn't want to at that particular moment.]

Wellllll.
You're a guy. I'm a guy. If it's not awkward for you, you can stay. I've got nothing on me that you haven't seen before.

[He paused.]

As far as I know, anyway.

["You run into any problems yet? Y'know... biologically?"

That alone was enough to make Voile simply stare at Vinnie. He moved to close the door after he entered, but his gaze remained very direct.

Biological problems? Besides not really knowing what to do with most of what he had. He was heavier and therefore it took more energy getting accustomed to the additional weight he was carrying. Little by little was completely different from gaining muscle mass all at once. He couldn't quite grab things the way he was used to. He could grab too hard and break something as he wasn't really aware of his full strength yet. And there was, naturally, everything beneath the belt, which Voile had spent plenty of time looking at, touching, fiddling about with, and being stupidly fascinated.

Human bodies. What weird gangly things. With ganglia, at that.]

...Mm... [And it was hard not to start turning red. But he tried his best.] I'm not fully aware of what I'm capable of, if that's what you mean. I'm not exactly familiar enough with men to know how the body works.

[Hell, he hadn't been familiar enough with a human woman's form either.]

[A hand lifts and what's usually graceful and eloquent is nature's way of being super casual. Casual cool, evidently.]

It's absolutely me. Quite the difference, right? I've been obsessed with it all morning.

[That hadn't really been what Bulba had been expecting. It made sense that a girlier Voile would have shied away, and Bulba would have turned around without question even if he had absolutely zero interest in what was under her pretty clothes.

Sure they were both guys at the moment, but he actually had a heavily invested interest in looking at dudes. So this was? Confusing? He probably should have just turned around so he wouldn't have to be debating what was appropriate to be curious about.

Locker room etiquette, Bulba. Locker room etiquette.

SO. HE SHRUGGED.]

Pretty sure things will check out that way, so no worries.

[If he wasn't so oblivious, Voile probably wouldn't have made the invitation. Not that she didn't know he had a thing for guys. He'd just assumed he wasn't going to come into play where he was concerned.

It wasn't exactly on his mind. Yet.]

No worries, huh...?

[He chuckled a little and moved to stand at the edge of his bed and he rummaged through some of the clothes Bulba had brought. Sweaters and longer shorts. Comfortable things. It was all oddly pleasant.]

These are pretty nice. I always thought you had good taste in clothes.

Really.

[Bulba cast the clothes on the bed a dubious look.]

Well, they're comfy anyway. That's about all I actually pay attention to...

[He laughed.]

Everything that's actually nice was a gift, really.

I'm so used to just wearing what looks nice that I've never thought much about comfort. I guess it's completely different. It'd look a little strange if a guy was decked in lace and ribbons the way I usually am. I almost made a dress out of my curtains to fit me, actually.

[He grinned as he stripped off his makeshift shirt in favour of trying on a knit sweater.]

On the other hand, it's possible to look nice and still be comfortable. In my opinion, I like your style. It looks nice. To me, anyway.

What happened? Do you know?

Wish I knew. In books fairy godmothers grant wishes, but I definitely didn't see any fairy godmothers.

This is, um. Weird.

I've been saying that all morning. Weird for everyone involved. I don't even know how to be a guy.

I mean, I don't think there's really anything...to know.

[Manvoile chest in full action. He had to admit that curiosity got the better of him, so his eyes lingered on what was available a touch longer than necessary. For science.

But he shrugged without missing a beat, looking more bashful over the compliment than the prospect of getting caught staring.]

I've never dressed to impress or anything but... that's still nice to know.

I knew a guy that decked himself out in dresses all the time though, actually! He looked really good in it. You could probably rock some if you wanted.

But a sweater is fine, too.

[Again, three cheers for oblivious Voile. No matter what gender, no matter what scenario, the individual never saw what was actually before him. Or her, as the case might have been.]

You think so...

[Voile had to consider the possibility of wearing a dress again. Maybe he could. Maybe he should. But maybe sweaters would look better.]

Tell you what. I'll make a dress as some point and you can tell me if it's better than the sweaters, okay?

Oh! I have a white shirt with an Indigo Plateau picture on it. That's kind of purple! I'll bring that.

It should just be a couple of minutes!
