[ Video turns on to show a blue-haired girl, who apparently is having difficulty with her webcam as she is fussing with it live. ]

Um... I-Is this on? Ah...

[ It takes her a moment, but she finally takes notice of the red light emitted from her webcam and quickly sits back. A light dust of pink settles on her cheeks from embarrassment, shyness, and discomfort from being filmed. She straightens her posture and timidly looks into the camera. If you look closely enough, you'll realize she's in the computer lab. ]

H-Hello... My name is Chiyo, a new student here. I'm... I'm deeply sorry for being so late with introducing myself. I, ah, I'm not very good with computers, so... please forgive me for being so slow.

[ She pauses, and it is clear that she feels worried about something. ]

I come from Kanto, and am a water-type Pokemon known as a Vaporeon. My p-purpose for coming to Smash is to learn and to... b-better myself as an individual.

[ Whether or not it was obvious, her face is reddening from her rising anxiety and stress. She vaguely even wonders if anyone will watch this video, or if they're even watching it now. The thought doesn't make her feel better in the slightest, and so she hastens the end of her introduction. ]

[It took her a while, but Chiyo managed to figure out how to reply via video by reading through various manuals and from trial-and-error. Though, at first, she thought the feed was live and tried speaking while it ran. She tried to remain calm and cool in spite of feeling embarrassed, but she was happy to see Ellistree again, even if it was through a video. Much to her surprise (and confusion), the bursts of heart-jolting emotions didn't reappear from seeing Ellistree's face, and she was thankful to feel, well, 'normal' again.]

I'm feeling much better now. Thank you for always being concerned and considerate of me. I can never thank you enough.

Things have been challenging, like getting accustomed to this human form and using this computer, but I'm persevering.

I'll be sure to come find you, regardless of whether I need something.

[Oh! A reply! How exciting. Chiyo was starting to see the appeal to using computers. Communicating seemed much easier this way, considering that she wouldn't actually have to face someone. Though, the keyboard would take quite some time to master. The letters were just all over the place.... Why weren't they in order?]

[As much fun as Chiyo was having at the moment, she was now running towards a dead end for things to say. She thought about asking another question, but then felt that she might soon come off as someone pestering him for information. And she didn't want to bother him that way.

I. Do you know. I like it here, too, especially the lake, greenhouse, and library. I think Smash is a lovely place.

[For the record, she's hardly computer literate and thinks typing is permanent, so she doesn't understand the meaning of the "Backspace" button. Chiyo could only hope he wouldn't find her jumbled sentence weird.

(She was originally going to ask "Do you know Pokemon?" but changed her mind since it was another question.]
