What were those blasted floating hands thinking when they decided they would write me up for a teacher? I don't teach, it's not what I live for. There is little use for this place, and I must get back to where I came from. And from the looks of things in this place, there is no sign of that girl lingering around. I would rather spend time training on my own magic if I have the time to teach.

I suppose I shouldn't decline free occupancy, though. As much as I'd prefer to live in a cave—I'll tell you, I found the perfect one just before coming from that strange world called Primp—having free space is an attractive deal.

To those who enrolled in "Introduction to Magic" class, there are two textbooks you will all have to read before class. The final test will cover all basic concepts I will teach. Written or in actual practice, will be determined by your performances. Do whatever you want, but don't come crying to me when you fail the class.

[There is the names of the textbook written here. If one were to look at the book, it's a pretty thick book covering all sorts of magic. The other one consists of basic rules about some puzzle-solving.]

Hmph. My only concern is becoming the strongest wizard. To do so, I must train my own magic, not waste time talking to kids.

If needed, I would rather hole myself up in a cave.

No one is stopping you from continuing your training though. If anything, going back to basics during class should serve to strengthen your advancement.

Can't fulfill the intricacies of the more complex advanced magic if you can't harness the basics to their full potential.

That's a rather intriguing and mysterious name Mr. Wegey. It's pleasant to voice.

[Schezo can't hide his surprise, since no one has ever complimented on his name before. Not that he really cared for his name that much ~~other than being called a pervert~~...]

Do you think so? I've never cared much for it before.

If you say so. Those who know of me would associate my name with "Imp" or "Pervert" so I'm unused to getting actual compliments such as this.

An Imp or a Pervert huh? So energetic, mischievous or someone who is simply more forward with the things they appreciate or are attracted to.

Nothing wrong with that from what I can see. [She added with a wink. Of course, many would say Ellistree's way of life in living free and doing as she pleases could be considered perverted to some. Not that she really cares what others think.]

I may have been mischievous, but that's back when I was younger.

[Ellistree can't help but laugh a little and smiled mischievously afterwards.]

Oh? Her everything? My my that's a bold statement if I've ever heard one~ Like her that much hm?

What?! No I didn't mean it that way! I only meant I want her!

......I meant, I want her powers! Her magic powers! I do not like her like that in any way! Why would I like that barbaric flat-chested tomboy?

You know, flat-chested girls are cute too~ Though I suppose not everyone can be well endowed, I have to admit I get it from my mother.

But the yearning of power from others is quite normal really. Especially for those with big ambitions.

Cute? Not when they throw fire balls and have no grace whatsoever!

[This is the first time someone has said that it was normal; he can't hide his surprise from hearing this. He also felt appreciative too, though. Finally, someone who understood his feelings!]

Do you truly think so? It is actually my first time meeting someone who shares a similar opinion.

Well a lot of mages tend to be flashy and rather vocal.

[Ellistree smiled and relaxed back on her chair when he showed his surprise.]

Of course, it's a natural inclination in the search for growth. Of course there are many ways in which people seek power from others.

Some seek a master to learn through, others seek it in the works of others, books, stories and such. Others go through more devious means like ripping it from anothers soul, or stealing said power. Some even simply compete with each other, strengthening each of themselves as they grow in power through rivalries.

[He gives a small smile and a slight nod, agreeing to Ellistree.]

Mm, true, though there is only so much that you can learn from others.

As much as I'd like to go taking others' powers for my own, that is something I would require much preparation for.

Every bit of growth, no matter how small, is growth you didn't previously have. Everything in both nature and beyond has something to teach and every bit you learn is one more step in power.

[Ellistree winked.]

That's why I'm always learning, always looking, and always growing.

[Not in size of course... she was already tall enough!]

I suppose I wouldn't be opposed to practicing my skills from time to time, though I'd prefer gaining my powers through knowledge of ancient text.

Maybe there's some such texts around this place? I haven't particularly looked, but it seems this place has quite a history, if not within grounds, definitely within many of the residents.

It'd be good to take a look if anything.

Ah, yes. I have been told of the library that exists on the school grounds. I have been offered for a tour around it. Perhaps I will acquire a number of interesting books while I'm there.

With all the different worlds that have meshed here, I'm sure there are very interesting books.

Ah, yes, that's true, I've forgotten about that. Perhaps it's not such a bad idea to linger here longer rather than trying to find a way back to where I had come from as soon as possible.
