[video BACKDATED A LOT to like the end of Feb.]
[Perhaps she had waited too long to say anything… but probably it was only too late if nothing was said. It was important to say something, but she knew it was a foolish move to do it if she did not have a chance to do anything for herself. The incident with Mary had left her beaten, there was no denying it. After speaking with Ai, there was no doubt that she had a similar experience with the blonde, and that she had also been told to keep quiet.
As silent as she normally was, this was not something she would stay quiet over. She knew better than to do it recklessly, however. Measures were taken to make sure her sister was safe. This would be ok.]
[Hey look it's the tiny librarian that has made herself incredibly scarce recently. She doesn't look happy, but when has she ever looked happy? More so, she seemed a bit… sad. Those that knew her knew she was very quiet, but she was speaking up now.]
Hello. I will be brief, as I will not say anything good.
Some of you may know Mary. Some may not. She hurt my sister. She ripped off her petals. She assaulted me. She took some of mine. I do not know if you know what that means. I do not know if you know what it means to destroy a petal. It is not good. It hurts. Mary told me to be quiet, but I will not.
I know some of you have flowers of your own. Please take care of them. Please be wary.
Thank you.
[private vidya]
Then you did know.
I do not believe you are at fault.
[private vidya now too]
Warning: You are seeing now many feelings inside Garry. He had this pent up for some time...and now that things are bad.
Well, he's a royal mess. And looking at you...you look like a white haired version of Ib. Right down to the red eyes. It was heart breaking enough, but you looking like Ib might have triggered something worse. Garry's eyes started glossing, ashamed.]
No...you don't understand. I knew Mary before I came here.
[That just...came out. No more hiding. Walls are down. Not in front of her. Not after what Mary did. He just can't do this anymore.]
I knew what kind of person she was. She...is from a different place.
And I...I wanted to help her make friends, give her something better...I wanted her to change. And now she...
...She's becoming just as bad, maybe worse. I promised her I'd keep her secret. You two had to pay the price...

You misunderstand me. I know what you know, about who she is. I know that you knew her. I do not know what happened.
[Vianca looked back up at him, as still as ever despite his own emotions.]
You cannot be blamed for another's selfish heart.

[Garry perked every so slightly. Because this now just got interesting in a different way.]
You knew about Mary? And about me?
no subject
I do not know much about you. Just that you wrecked things.
[Vianca paused, slightly tilting her head in the either direction.]
But since I was supposed to also "wreck" things, I am not certain of the validity of the "wreckage."

[And he was glad Vianca knew this; Mary was unstable. Garry knew this. But note how he didn't mention himself in that.]
...But she was in a book. You probably...know about Guertena, don't you?
no subject
It was a book about his life and work. So yes.

[He sighed. He didn't want it to be this way. But wishing did him nothing. And it was pointless to even think like that.]
...Then I owe you an explanation. Since she put you through so much.

[Ahem...]
Well then you must also know she's not human...she's a....
Mary's a...a painting.
[That was...so HARD. But he did it! And he can only go further from here.]
She lived in a world that was terrifying beyond imaginable. I was forcibly brought into it as well as a friend of mine.
no subject
A world in canvas?
no subject
[You accepted it this far.]
It was a terrifying cruel place. In which we were forced to watch over colored roses and if something happened to them.
[Pause. He swallowed hard.]
We'd die...
[Memories are starting to surface.]
...And she tried to make sure I at the very least did.

The other half...
[We're going a bit deeper, but for some reason...it's been easy to just spill it. Was it because it was getting harder to keep this all in? Absolutely. But now. Now he can share. It was like he was carrying a sack of potatoes on his shoulders for too long a time.]
She wanted to take my place.
no subject
Your place?
[A pause. This seemed like a familiar story trend... A few, actually.]
As a friend or as a human?
no subject
[That sure came out flatly.]
I learned that she could only leave by taking the place of another. She wanted to be this person's friend very badly.
[More like they read her diary after her painting was burned.]
She was...lonely and trapped there. I felt very bad for her. I really did. I promised her I'd help her lead a much better life here. I really wanted that.
[Sigh...while we're on that.]
Where I was from, she never left. When we found her secret place where her painting was, she went crazy.
She tried to kill us.
[He pulled out his silver lighter.]
...I had to burn it.
no subject
[That certainly explained a lot about Mary.]
I am sorry.
no subject
What?
Why are you apologizing?
