It's filled with what looks like tissue paper, tied and wrapped around a thing. ... Like circular balls. Oh, how mysterious! Sometimes, her basket might look nearly empty. But no worries, 'cause she'll soon have more in there.

And she's looking for people. Anyone. Everyone. You. Or maybe you. She's especially looking for faces she recognises, even if those faces don't recognise her.

Or maybe she's never seen you before, but hey, if you're around and don't look terribly busy (or maybe you are), maybe this girl with too much light blonde hair will come over to you. What's up?

And people whose rooms she knows of or of their classrooms, hey, you're getting a visit. Library goers, too. Greenhouses. The stadium. The gym.

They were large areas in a city where most merchants gathered and people who ventured in could also sell or trade their wares or services. It was always booming with life and large crowds.

So I've heard. Things should be good again soon, don't worry. [At least Ellistree hoped so. She'd hate for this place to become a war zone like back home.]

Maaa, I hope sooo. It sounds reeallly baaad; Gold told me people are fighting and hurrting each otheeer.

Aye... It's, well, rather common for sentient creatures to fight and hurt each other but not to this degree...

Well, unless they were at war, then it becomes this tragic and more.

[Ellistree sighs.]

Waaar? [ That word... it doesn't sound familiar. ] Is war a bad place where you're frooom?

[Ellistree shakes her head, considering what to say to someone who seemed so young. This wasn't Azeroth, there was no need to cause the young to be so afraid.]

War is something that... well, it's something bad. I feel as if there's no need for you to know at the moment but... if you needed to, I'm sure your trainer would be a better choice to ask.

[ Oh, it did sound really bad... and as curious of a Mareep Maisy was, she didn't want to make Ellis have to think about bad things anymore. ]

They can't stay mad forreeever. Even really reeeally angry people get sad about fightiiing. [ Saying that, Maisy puts a hand into the basket and takes out two more chocolates, which she holds out to Ellistrees with a big smile. ] When they dooo, they should alll make up. Then we can go out and explooore!

[Ellistree forced a bittersweet smile and nodded.]

Yeah... they can't. [Although she knew better.... She had seen bitter hatred that had lasted for centuries... millenia even. Nonetheless, she accepted the chocolates and bowed her head appreciatively.]

I hope it doesn't come to that but yes, making up is something some people desire after much conflict. [But she also knew that the majority just ended up being more bitter afterwards and that brewed more hate and could easily trigger future fighting and worse.]

[fluffsyou]

[ On the other side of the basket, Maisy nodded. ] Yeaaah. Maaa, Elliii, when it's nice in the ciiiity agaaain, do you wanna go exploriiing with me and my friiiends? Goold and 'lorah. We can tell you everythiing we knoow. We're from thiiis wooorld, so we can tell you looots.

[Ellistree smiled more honestly this time and nodded.]

I'd really like that. Thank you.

Yeah! What do you liike about stuuff heeere? I can tell you what I knoow!

[ Because if Ellis wanted to, Maisy didn't mind at all keeping sat down and chatting with the lady. The initial weariness had all gone away. ]

Well, I've always been drawn to nature, animals and flora. This place is very unique in every one of those aspects and I'm taking courses in order to be able to learn as much as I can about every one of them.

Pokemon included of course.

I can tell you about Poookeeemoon. Or naaatuuure! I lived out in fiieeelds with Mareeeps and Flaaafffys and floooweers. [ That's what she meant, right? ]

Hmm, why don't you tell me about you then? And those close to you? [She asked curiously.]

Okaay! What should I teelll you aboout? [ She thinks about it. ] Do you wanna know what we aaare?

[luneshalla]

[Ellistree nodded and smiled.]

That's a good start, yes. I'd like that.

Okay! There's 'loraaah, she's a Jumpluuufff. And there's...

[ Maisy goes through a list of the Pokemon on Gold's team, including their names and their species. It's easy for her to know, since hey, that's the best part about when you just say the same word over and over. ]

...and then there's meee, a Mareep! 'loraah got soft balls on eaaach side of her, and she can make reeeally nice smells! And me, I can shooock stuufff, but I don't like to. It's... eeeleckkk-triiiccedddy.

[Ellistree listens intently, smiling at each description as she nods along.]

So, as far as I know, one can make teams like Gold's then? That seems like it'd be really nice. Like having a family.

Though, [She said as she tapped her chin in thought.]

It's really interesting to see the development of offensive and defensive abilities that Pokemon have. In the natural world, creatures and even plants develop these depending on their environment and their lives.

Pokemon seem to have extreme versions and much more developed abilities. They are far more than just creatures of the forest and that's really exciting.

Maaaaaa, there's a buunch of them. They're called traaaiiners and teeams. But I like calling them my frieeends.

[ As for that other part.. ]

That's 'cause peeoople like to fiight. Gooold made me leaarn stuff to do tooo- but I don't liiike fighting. I like playing more.

I like the sound of friends better. [Ellistree mused and nodded.]

[That last comment made her eyes narrow slightly as she listened.]

Hm... Do they like to fight as well, or are they being forced to do so?
