About that.
What a peculiar thing to return to. Perhaps some of you are casting a suspicious eye upon me. Let me humor you, friends: Do you think if I were faced with one man that needed to die, I would diminish such an opportunity with a simple gut wound?
I'm an opportunist first. A man aware of the necessity of death as a proper and useful tool second.
And gut wounds are too slow for my tastes. You save that for a busy schedule when you despise your disposable company just enough.
We have animals that moonlight as children, war generals, and "deities", and your concern is a likely unrelated party's demise in the woods before the animals got to him. Intriguing that the animals here are so well fed that a perfectly dead man lying in the woods for several days goes untouched.
I would like to meet this murderer. And educate him on body disposal.

One would think the very idea of death is something absolutely unheard of. This isn't the first murder in the city this year. Anywhere with such a large population has one pop up in the news every so often. I wouldn't be surprised if this was drug- or gang-related, as they often are.
Now really, you are all being ridiculous. Yes, it is a terrible thing to have happen so near to the school. No, I don't think we're all in immediate danger.
Besides, doing so much as swatting a bug is akin to murder in Final Destination. Just some food for thought.

[Suddenly, Krystal! But, instead of her normal demeanor, she looks rather serious at the moment. Also calm. Very calm.]
I would like to remind everyone to stay calm during this situation.
If you are heading out for any reason during daylight hours or during night especially, please do not go out alone if you can help it. While I certainly realize that many of us are well-equipped with items or abilities to defend yourselves, you never know when something could ambush you and have you end up with the same fate as that innocent man.
[She pauses... and then adds on.]
Also, if you are to discover anything at all, or if you are in need of something, I cannot stress enough to not hesitate to speak to any of us on the staff. We're here for a reason, you know.
