Hello! I know a few of you feel that your humanized forms will give you away during the masquerade.

Never fear!

The 31st of October is quite a magical night and if you wish it so, your humanized form can become fully human for that day only. But be careful! The magic will run out at the stroke of midnight.

[Voile is, as per the usual, doing homework. You can hear her writing if you listen close enough. But she keeps pausing in between scribbles to talk.]

So we get a masquerade! I've never been to one before, but I've read about them.
I'm really, really looking forward to it. The invitation was nice and pretty, too. I think this is just what we need to settle down and take some time to ourselves.

Have any of you guys met Miss Pele? She's the one teaching the pottery class. She's from Hoenn! I'm so happy to finally have someone from my region here with me. Before, it was Brendan, but I haven't even heard from him, so I think I'll write him a letter and see how he and his Pokémon are doing. But anyway, Miss Pele is really amazing. Where I come from, stories and legends say that when the earth tremors, she's moving far down beneath the surface. I think she's so cool! She has so much strength and conviction!

[Why yes. Voile is fangirling a little bit.]

Uhm. I haven't really spoken with you, but I know I saw you at the tavern. My fellow green-haired wonder, are you doing any better? [She's referring to Vinnie here and his depressed state from her potluck.] I have something to bring you. I'm sure you'll really like it.

I was thinking... We should play a game! If you can find me at the masquerade, I'll give you something when it turns midnight!

[After this talk with Cyrus, Lash is going to listen to him and...okay no. Instead what has happened is that Lash sent out a picture to EVERYONE on campus.]

Ahh. A Masquerade, eh? Well, I'm going to use the same costume I wore to similar events at Capcom High. My Invisible Werewolf costume. It's a very good costume, as you'll not be able to see me the entire evening. It goes over a treat, I can tell you.

My, I've certainly been busy these past few weeks. I almost forgot about this journal! Between spending time in the library and meeting and chatting with people, there's barely enough time in the day. Certainly not enough time to work on my class plans. But I suppose that's the responsibility of being a teacher, huh? Though most of the books I read during my free time can be used towards my class, so it's not a total waste of time.

I'll have to make sure to spend as much time outside as I can while the weather is still good. It makes me wonder when we'll start to get snow. Ah, but first there's Halloween to worry about. Can't forget about that!

[Suddenly there is a Haunter in front of the camera. He looks very excited. He may have even licked the camera.]

Haun! Haunter haun!

Ack! Haunter! What are you--

[Eusine manages to push Haunter out of the way.]

At least someone's excited for Halloween.

A masquerade... Finally this school is showing a little more class. Though considering the people here, it's not much of an improvement. Oh well. I suppose it's a case of "enjoy the small victories while you can." I'll have to find a proper costume for the event. Not that I think it'll be difficult. Everything looks good on me--*delete delete* Though I suppose it wouldn't do to out-stage anyone.

Oh who am I kidding, of course it would. There are probably people here who think they can get away with wearing a bed-sheet and calling that a "costume." How pathetic. I wonder where there are any decent mask shops in town.
