Hello everyone, I'm back! I evolved into Ariados while I was away. I'm worried that no one might recognize me since I look very different... I'm not green anymore... I'm red and I also have long hair as a human! I'm a little taller too. I hope I don't scare anyone...

I'm an Ariados now, but I'm still used to being called Spinny... I enrolled back into school with that name too. I hope everyone will still call me by that even if I don't look the same!

[Spinny did think about sending a private message to Marie, but she couldn't think of what to say. She tried okay, she sat there for a billion hours staring at the blinking text line before closing the message window. Sob.]

[Marie takes a seat on the edge of Spinny's bed. He wishes he hadn't gotten in a fight, because he'd much rather be hugging or something right about now...]

I don't get along with him. He's on my rival team and everything. We're not meant to get along I guess... I needed to talk to him today about something but... it didn't go so well.

[Sorry Marie. Hugs will come later when she's not so worried and confused.]

Why would...being on...rival teams make...you two not...like each other...?

[Trainer things. She does not understand.]

[He thought a little about Spinny as she spoke. Her speech seemed to stay the same, but her appearance was so different. She was still ... pretty ... it was just different. Sometimes Marie had a hard time with different.]

It's part of being on a rival team. You're not friends, you're rivals. Like enemies or whatever. He's a jerk. [He pauses.] He beat me up and threw up on me.

[Marie, of course, threw the first punch. But he wasn't going to tell Spinny that. Yet, anyway.]

[And some more flailing before looking a little sad.]

Bulba...did that...? He didn't...seem so mean...when I talked....with him...

[She totes thinking that Bulba's the one that threw the first punch.]

[punchwaves]

[Marie shakes his head.]

He acts like he's nice. He's not. He doesn't respect my team.

[Spinny starts getting calmed down and slowly sits down next to Marie. Now she's more confused than anything else.]

...Someone...can be...nice...but not respect?

[punchwaves]

[Marie thinks it'd be nice to hold Spinny's hand, but he decides against it.]

They can pretend to be nice. Like Bulba. You should stay away from him, and the rest of his team...

[She's really sad about this but if Marie says so, maybe she should probably stay away from Bulba...]

...Okay...

[And then there's some silence before she starts fidgeting again and she looks over at Marie before giving him a pretty tight hug.]

[punchwaves]

[Oh. At that moment, Marie realized how much he really, truly had wanted that hug. Normally he wasn't a fan of physical contact, but there were a few people he made exceptions for. Spinny was one of them.

He took the time to, again, think about how much Spinny had changed. He noticed she was taller. Taller than him, now. He wished that she wasn't, but it wasn't that bad. When he wrapped his arms around her, he thought about her hair. It was a lot longer. He liked that.

He found a spot in Spinny's neck to lean into. And when he spoke, he sort of mumbled.]

[Her face is burning like crazy oh god she was going to faint if this keeps up.]

Me... too...

[And she buries her face into Marie's shoulder. She wouldn't be able to speak for a while since her face was burning so much.]

[At this point, his cheeks are starting to heat up too. And he doesn't feel like saying anything else, either. It made him feel a little better to just stay like that...]
