Oh, finally, I think it's working! Um... hello! I'm back. In case you don't know me or maybe just forgot, my name is Kieran, and I'm a child of the forest. I'm spending a year away from the herd in order to gather knowledge... a year that's almost over, actually. Winter's only a season away, isn't it?

But I guess I'm getting ahead of myself! Each season has its turn, so I guess I'd better talk about autumn instead. You don't mind, do you?

[Not even waiting for the magical spirit box picture thingy to respond. Just plowing on ahead. SEASONS ARE A REALLY BIG DEAL FOR A SAWSBUCK.]

Each and every person is attuned to a season of the year. That's what we Sawsbucks believe. Autumn might be the time of year when our leaves fade away and our antlers drift into dormancy, but it's also the season when our foliage is the color of our blood -- it's not a time of resignation, it's a burningly, achingly alive season! The autumn-hearted are people who possess fiery ambition. They have a depth of emotion that not many others can claim; when something seizes their heart, it's seized completely and utterly. Their passion can inspire the complacent and meek: the autumn-hearted are the bringers of action, powerful agents of change with endless nerve in the face of adversity. I didn't meet many autumn-hearted spirits last time I was here, but I'm certain there must be some of you out there!

Ah, and just between us, spirit box... they say that the autumn-hearted make the best lovers. I guess it only makes sense: for us, autumn is also the season of love. It's something I'm kind of nervous about! Last year, I was still a Deerling, so this is going to be my first rut. I don't know who I'm going to try to fight for yet... actually, I'm not sure how I'm even supposed to win anyone over. So many of the spirits here have no antlers, so I guess jousting is out, huh?

...Well, as long as I'm in the realm of the gods, I might as well do it however the spirits do it, right? I am here to learn, aren't I?

No, I am not. I arrived recently and was allowed to attend this school during my stay here. It's been interestingly pleasant so far and I hope I can continue to remain here for now.

Ah, isn't it wonderful here? There are still a lot of things I really don't understand at all, but I'm still excited to be back! Don't worry, I'm sure they'll let you stay as long as you like. Once you get past the gates, it's pretty nice in here!

It has been wonderful yes~ I've met many new faces and have built new relationships. This place holds many wonders that I still wish to experience since many of what I have seen has been nothing but pleasant or fun.

Yes, I feel exactly the same way! I thought that I knew so much about the world before I actually set out into it. To learn and to change is something we prize very much! If you're the same way, then I think we're going to be very good friends.

I can appreciate good friends and good company, especially in a new world.

Ellistree... it's a lovely name! What sort of spirit are you, Ellistree? You don't look like any Pokemon I've met.

I'm no spirit, no, at least not one in the term used in my world. Nor am I a Pokemon, but I have met a few of them, all very interesting in their own ways.

I'm a half elf from a world called Azeroth.

Azeroth... I've never heard of it. Nor have I heard of half elves... but you seem like very nice beings! I'm really curious, to be honest! I'd like very much to get to know a little more about you and your world, if that's alright.

That can be arranged, yes. I would love to have a conversation about our worlds. Azeroth can be both immensely beautiful and incredibly dangerous. Much like nature it is unpredictable and it is that constant struggle with life and death that keeps the races that dwell within it always active and surprising you every step of the way.

Would you like to chat through this device, or did you have a location in mind where we could meet later?

I would much rather do it in person, truthfully... but I'm trying my best to do things like the spirits here, so I guess I'd better get used to talking through this thing, hadn't I?

I'm afraid my own stories might not be anywhere near as interesting as yours, though. The place I come from isn't very faraway or exotic at all, though I do love it very much.

There's a time and a place for anything and should you wish, meeting in person is perfectly fine~

I'm sure they're interesting in their own right, it is through the lives of others that we can come to better understand their world so your stories are just as valuable as any others.

If that's the case, then meeting sounds much nicer to me. This spirit box thing is pretty confusing to me, to be honest. I really don't know what any of the symbols mean.

I hope you're right! Storytelling's one of our favourite things, so we've got an awful lot of them.

It took me a while to figure it out myself, I mean Gnomes and Goblins had stuff that could have been similar but much different... but they were really eccentric and hard to understand at times. I think I've gotten the gist of it however, it's quite clever and fun technology! I'm in love with this internet thing, it's such a fount of knowledge!
