There seems to be quite a few down by the lake! Not just eggs, but more Chao, too! I didn't notice any Chao last time we were around it.

It is likely their migratory season. [ He turns his head away, eyes shutting. He remembers seeing a Chao briefly, just once. It had strange yellow eyes and looked more like a doll than a living being... ] They may be around for months at a time.

[ How curious. Maybe he'll check them out a little. It's all for scientific research purposes and curiosity, of course. Nothing involving petting them or relaxing there, no. ]

No. That is absolutely not a suiting environment for the Ultimate Lifeform. On the same token, he did... like spending time with Sonic, seeing how much he adored every piece of nature around him.
