...That new teacher seems weird, doesn't he? The painting one? I can't even tell if he sounds like a boy or a girl. Anyway, painting is okay, but drawing's a lot more fun!

I... have a lot of crayons, so we should all draw together sometime instead!

It's too wet to go outside, so there's not much else to do, right...?

Actually, um, I'm pretty excited for that painting class! Isn't it a little like drawing, but instead of pencils you use brushes and stuff? That's how I've always thought about it.

But, um, it would be a lot of fun if a bunch of us got together and draw something big!

Painting's really different. I tried it once, and the paint gets everywhere and it smudges easy. Crayons are better!

Something big...? That sounds... Really fun! The school has big walls on the outside. We should draw on it with chalk when it finishes raining.

Ohhhh. ...well, um, I'm still excited to try out painting! It's okay if paint gets everywhere, I could always clean it up. ...but I don't like smudges, though...

But yeah! Um, when it gets dry again, let's draw something outside! I think we might get in trouble though if we draw on the walls.
