[The feed flickers on, and at first, not much more can be seen beyond a ball of very creamy fluff with a leaf attached to it. What a way to start a video introduction, what with the Leafeon dipping its head and sniffing at the camera. What a funny contraption, it might think.

From behind it, however, a voice rings out, one that is gentle yet awfully fast.]

Thank you for greeting everyone, Leafeon...! How very kind of you.

[The Pokemon cries out with joy and hops away from the camera, leaving it focused on a very familiar face, one with hazy grey eyes and minty-green hair cascading down his back. His ponytail is notably undone for now, a nearby fan blasting in his direction as he tries to cool off. Despite his clearly weary and scalding condition, he smiles brightly into the camera, hands clapping together.]

Smash Academy! It has been far too long. [He glances off to the side, seeming a bit bashful.] I, ah... I must apologize. I had more of the world to see, and I left rather quickly. I was uncertain that I'd done the disenrollment process properly, as well... [He faces the camera again, looking more uplifted again.] Regardless, the hands have given me a warm welcome, so I suppose I have done nothing wrong. In fact, they have allowed me to increase my grade. It seems I am in college now...!

[He briefly pauses, a hand cupping his chin as he ponders.] Yet, I am not sure how to begin with my major... What does an aspiring Pokemon professor take...? [He shakes his head.] I would think that is not urgent yet. I have to check on my friends! My dear, dear friends...

[He folds his hands neatly on his lap, grinning.] I have missed you all. How are you doing? Are you all still here?

[Oh, that's a wonderful, familiar face! N poses a rather bubbly expression himself, the Leafeon on his lap watching the screen intently.]

I have been traveling to discover myself. It is funny how that journey wound up in my return anyway...

[He grins, curious as to what she's been up to.] It has been quite some time, yes. What have you been... `up to`?

Ha, same thing as you, actually! I took three years off to do a little... well, I guess not so much self-discovery as poke-discovery? I dunno how discovered I got, but I had a ton of fun, at least.

But what about you? I bet... oh, actually, hold on. If we're gonna swap stories, let's do it in person, okay? I wanna meet your new friend, there!

[She directs a little wave over at Leafeon. Cannot resist cuddly little Eeveelutions, okay. Besides, important conversations like these just aren't as fun if they're over a screen.]

[The creature trills in agreement, squishing its face to the screen. Wassaaaaaaaap.]

We will be waiting for you. [He nods and ends the feed. He waits, stroking the Leafeon on his lap and munching delicately on a can of plums.]

[It took a second while Lyra looked up where he was staying, but soon enough there's an eager knock at N's door, and an even-more-eager face peeking into the room.]

Leafeon does indeed like those. Trust me, if she didn't, N would have already intervened, but here she is with a flipping tail and a small croon to speak of.]

I met an elderly couple running a daycare in Solaceon Town, Sinnoh. [He kneels down, running a hand over Leafy's back.] They needed a home for this one, still an egg... and so, I took it upon myself to give this Leafeon, once an Eevee, a home with me.

[Well, technically, seeing as he kind of didn't have a home.]

Wow, it was lucky you were there! So, Sinnoh, huh...? How was it? Was that the only place you went? I wanna hear all about what you were up to!

Mm, I've been to... Sinnoh, yes, as well as Hoenn and the Kanto and Johto regions. I recall you being from there, I believe.

[He tilts his head. He'll get into more detail, but he kind of... isn't positive about that nugget of information, haha.]

Yep! New Bark Town, to be exact. So? Prettiest region ever, or what? Which part was your favourite? Did you go to the Safari Zone? Ruins of Alph? Tin Tower? Man, I was back in Johto before I came here again. What if we were there at the exact same time?

All regions are beautiful. I do not hold a specific preference. I will say that Ecruteak City was magnificent. I didn't manage to see the Safari Zone or the Ruins... or Tin Tower... ah.
