So, I've been meaning to take some folks to Angel Island for a weekend vacation kinda deal for a while now. Between one thing n another, it's never quite materialized into being a thing that isn't just 'Hey it would be cool if...'.

So. Let's set a date. I'm thinking the 12th. If you're my buddy, you're good to go. I'll need a rough head count, though so if you're interested, drop a comment and we'll consider that your RSVP, alright?

Weather is starting to warm up so we should be good to do almost anything the Island has to offer includin' swim so bring some trunks if you're not the kinda person who dies when immersed in water! If you are the kinda person who dies when immersed in water, bring trunks anyway and sunbathe.

Plus Ones are allowed too, so long as they ain't gonna tear the place up too bad. And by too bad, I mean At All.

Uh-huh. Because you've shown SO MUCH consideration for the world, and by extension, my Island as it exists now.

I'm not gonna say No outright? But gimme three good reasons I oughta let you come.

Interesting. I would have thought that my definition of duty, the force that fueled my actions, would have intersected with your definition of consideration. We both act to fill a need, and to prevent the world from damning itself. You see nothing there?

I suppose that is to be expected. You established that night that we will never see eye to eye.

I do not as yet seek that power. What I have devoted myself to at present is education. Something spiraled out of control that night and I must know what it was. In order to do that, I must rebuild my education. This process cannot be hurried, and as such I have no current plans for another attempt at divinity. Make no mistake, I will, ultimately, create that ideal world. Yet now the deed and act are further off than I am able to predict. For now, for the forseeable future, I will simply learn.

You know, and have known, that I am a peaceful man. My dream is that of peace itself. Your island will suffer none for my presence upon it.

I understand that it is not to be taken lightly. I have stated this, as you know that I approach my studies with the utmost seriousness.

And yet, that you divide such things...no matter. That is to be addressed to the administration, that field trips are no longer viewed as educational endeavors. I suppose you have little dealing in that matter.

Also - most everyone who's coming is doin' so to have fun. I know how much you hate fun but try keepin' the lectures to a bare minimum. Remember, this is completely off school grounds with no administrative support from the school itself, so, school rules against fighting don't apply there and I can't be there to watch out for you constantly if someone takes exception to your views on leisure time.

Oh - Don't forget your Pokemon, though. I'm more than happy for you to let them have a look around.

So long as they keep to their own minds, I couldn't care less. The same holds true for their attempts on battling. Though I am a man of peace, I do not hesitate to defend myself should anyone attempt to strike at me.
