No. It's nothing like that. I assume most things happen for a reason. I just haven't figured out what the reason was yet this time. But no one did anything to me.

I often find myself wondering, Knuckles, if you believe simply beating someone up solves all problems. Or perhaps you could be teasing to lighten the burdens on my heart.

Hey, come on now. I never said anything about beatin' anyone up. I know that doesn't fix ALL problems either. I mean, sometimes you have a to crack a couple eggs to make an omlette and let's be real about it - I'm not so shabby in that department. But I'm also alright at negotiating and talking my way through stuff so it coulda gone either way. I'm not just some mindless brute, y'know.

As for easing the burdens on your heart, I'd like to. You wanna go someplace? Do something for a while? Eat, read, walk. Whatever. I could show you my new place if you wanted, or take you for a ride on my bike?
