Anyway, despite all her past demons coming back TO HAUNT HER OMG, Manah seems relatively normal and sane, almost as if nothing had happened and she totally didn't break down pitifully in front of everyone at the festival. Nope. ]

This sneeze simply won't go away, and yet, I don't feel sick. Such strange effects this place seems to have. I'll keep my normal office hours for now, if anyone decides to visit.

[Raiden too has been the victim of some sniffling and sneezing, though his might be more related to the overwhelming amounts of dust caked into the school's air filters. Nothing like a little spring cleaning, huh?

The janitor can perhaps be better appreciated after he finishes his shift, takes two showers, and goes back to roaming the school's hallways out of sheer boredom, half-empty soda can in hand. Video games didn't seem to hold his attention this day, and his Squirtle, Gamera, was fast asleep in his dorm.

Dull, brooding boredom... as he roamed the halls near Manah's office.]

[ The dust is really getting to her too. Adjusting to a completely foreign world is really hard, especially when it comes to ALLERGENS. She quietly wishes she had some sort of healing magic to alleviate the odd symptoms she has developed.

A rather loud ACHOOOOO resounds from her office, followed by a flutter of papers out into the hall. ]

By the gods.....

[ She sniffles and follows the papers out into the hallways to recollect them. ]

[The blonde man flinches a bit as a sudden paper explosion happens right in front of his path.]

You alright?

[Without thinking about it, he's already bending down to help clean up the carnage.]

[ she looks at him for a moment, staring at him with her red eyes, then smiles softly. She hasn't seen him before, nor does she particularly expect a perfect stranger to help her out with her paper issues. ]

I shall be, thank you. I seem to have contracted a sneeze without a sickness.

I've never heard of someone having allergies forever. Usually it's a seasonal thing.

[ Manah is pretty observant in her lucid state of mind. ]

There was a lot of destruction and death. I worked to free the world of wars and their need to rely on the gods when I was still back home.

[ she nods. The gods must not have their influence here, she reasoned. Perhaps she'd be free of them too. ]

[Don't feel sick, huh? TOO BAD, sneezing can't mean anything else. And so Seere will be delivering lovingly homemade soup until this goes away.

Of course 'soup' means 'hot water with chunks of carrot and cabbage in it.' That's how it's made, right?]

[ Manah seems fine, sneezing aside, but she isn't quite sure what to do with it yet. Another loud ACHOO resounds down the hall, followed by a flutter of papers. She sneezes like a dragon. ]

[The loud, sudden noise almost startles Seere into dropping the bowl he's carrying. But only ALMOST. Which is good, because he worked hard on this monstrous concoction.]

That was you? It sounded really bad.

[ she looks up at him and smiles, happy to see her brother. It's still a strange feeling but after that whole ordeal at the cherry blossom festival, it doesn't feel so foreign. ]

It was. This odd sneeze just won't go away, and yet, I still don't feel sick.

I'm sure you will feel it later, though. That's why I've made you some soup.

[Proudly holding the bowl up!]

How thoughtful of you, Seere. [ she takes the bowl. It is rather.... odd soup. ] Perhaps this will do the trick. [ probably not. ]
