Ciao! How is everyone today? I hope the winter break has been treating you well?

[It takes a moment for Mona to realize that the crowd of people listening in on the network are likely not her usual fair. Habit of popping up randomly to address her fellow employees seems to have gotten the better of her.]

Oh! How silly of me, you're probably wondering why the heck a strange lady is babbling on, and on. Well, maybe I'm not so much of a stranger to most, perhaps there might be a few at the academy who might recognize my face? I mean, you never know, I might have delivered pizza to your door in the past, or maybe you know me from that huge video game company? It is a small world after all.

[Mona makes a sharp waving motion with her hand]

Anyhow, before I go flying off on a completely unrelated tangent, the name's Mona! I'm what you could consider to be the 'newbie' at school. Though mind you, back home in Diamond City I'm a senior student, so not incredibly new to the whole school thing. As of now, I'll be attending classes at Smash Academy as a transfer student. Sounds fun, huh?

[Only then does she realize how long she's been on the road and how late it's suddenly gotten. Time sure flies when you're having fun.]

If I keep standing out here talking I'm never going to get unpacked at this rate ha ha! Until next time, can't wait to meet you all in class!

The answer to that is a very big yes! Might be hard for me to deliver pizza currently on account of my business is back in Diamond City. However, that necessarily doesn't mean I still can't cook a pizza while I'm here.

This place does have a cafeteria, right?

[Three large suitcases might have been a bit overboard to bring to the Academy]

Tell you what? Since you've been kind enough to volunteer I'll make you a deal. From the goodness of my heart I'll consider these pizzas of yours on the house this time only. How does that sound?

[The feed went blank.

A few moments later, like a streak of yellow, a spiky haired guy zipped up in front of her outside. How did he get there so fast??]

Free pizza makes you my favourite person of the moment! [He offered his hand.] I'm Jolt!

[Mona swears she didn't blink from the moment she put her phone down to looking up and finding Jolt Standing in front of her. Call her impressed. She took the offered hand in both of hers.]

Oh gosh, I'm flattered to meet you Jolt! After you've tried one of my pizzas I hope I'll be your favorite person forever, and not just for the moment.

I don't know if anyone can top my trainer Green, but my second favourite person ever slot could be filled!

[He shook her hand eagerly.]

So! How many bags have you got?

[Mona motions her hand to the vespa parked behind her. One of the bags has already been unloaded and is sitting on the ground. The other two are still strapped to the vehicles back. It's a surprise even that a tiny vehicle like the Mona Cycle would carry such bulky weight.]

I've brought three suitcases with me in total. Grab whatever you can and I'll pick up the slack.

Wow, that's a sturdy bike you've got there.

[He unstrapped the suitcases from the back of the vespa, hefting them up under his arms.]

Geez! You don't really pack light! [he laughed]

[She's grabs the last bag by the handle. In hindsight, perhaps she should have gone light and stuck with the essentials.]

Sorry! Never really know what you'll need when you go off on the road to a new adventure. I wanted to be extra prepared for anything during the school year. [Mainly the suitcases contain nothing but her entire wardrobe, which is ridiculously huge.]

I'd consider packing lighter if I was worried about what the Mona Cycle couldn't handle in terms of weight. She's a study little speedster despite her looks.

[He hefted the bags, following her inside.]

I didn't have a lot before coming here, so I barely packed anything when I showed up.

Really? Huh. Not the materialistic type I suppose? I mean, if you're happy with what you have on hand that's all that matters.

[She keeps her eye contact off Jolt as she continues along the hallways, checking her phone so often to make sure she gets the right dorm room.]

Well, more like I never had opposable thumbs until I came here. But close enough!

[She cocks her head to the side. Jolt doesn't appear any different or strange to what she's used to in Diamond City. Aside from his ears that is. Come on, her fellow employees back home include a taxi driving bulldog, an alien in sunshades, and a girl with an imp familiar. Those aren't out of the normal to Mona's standards.]

Whatever do you mean?

Well, I'm a Pokemon normally. I got the ability to turn human after getting here!

[As if that were the most normal thing in the world.]

I'm so sorry, I have no idea what a 'Pokemon' is. We don't have you, er, them, I mean...whatever you guys are in my hometown.

Pokemon are monsters with crazy cool powers. We partner up with human trainers and take each other on in battle!

Whoa, hold on a minute here! Let me get this straight...you're saying a regular Joe like me teams up with a monster like you...to fight other monsters?

[No, she heard that right. He said he was a monster. Funny, he doesn't look scary what with all that fluffy cuteness floating about him. Maybe he's a werewolf? Yeah, let's go with that. A fluffy guy who turns into a deadly creature on the night of a full moon.]

Wow! This is all so hard to believe, in an awesome sort of way...

[He set Mona's bags down, and in an instant, where the spiky haired boy one stood there was a spiky yellow puppy thing.]

[Mona wanted to voice a protest over Jolt's enthusiasm to transform, but too late. With a slight gasp and a jump back all words escaped her lips as she stared down at the yellow critter. This...thing was once Jolt? He looked nothing like scary monster, in fact she was expecting fangs, claws, and eight eyes. Which would have been totally awesome in her books either way.]

Not what I initially expected when you said you were a type of 'monster'. [She kneels down to Jolt's level with a smile. Gosh, look at this thing it's so cute and spiky! Must resist urge to pet.]

Are all Pokemon as cute as you are, hm?

[Go ahead. Pet. Nobody can resist the cuteness for long.]

[Also he couldn't speak human language in this form, so he shook his head no. Nope, not all Pokemon were as cuddly and adorable as he was.]

[Finally giving in, Mona gives Jolt's head a gentle petting. It's...an odd feeling however. A few seconds ago this spiky ball of fur was a human boy standing on two legs. Now he's on all fours getting pets from her. What an eventful, and very strange first day of school this was turning out to be.]

[When she finally stopped petting him, he turned back and was now once again a blonde humanish boy sitting on the floor.]
