It's been a while. Rocky was growing up slowly and he hoped that he was taking very good care. He wasn't a trainer...he never thought he'd do something like this. But Riley trusted him. And so far, he'd been doing the right things. Rocky the Bonsly was happy and healthy. Even though Mac didn't know how to train, or...breed, or understand the language of Pokemon. If only he had the skills of Max or N, that'd be great. But he guessed he didn't have a huuuuge problem with it. Pokemon was still a big concept for Mac. So many types, so many kinds...

That was when a thought came to him. What was stopping him from learning so much more? Maybe he wasn't trainer material, or breeding material. But he could learn a bit more anyway. And maybe that would have to take him beyond the school doors, maybe for just a week or so. Rocky needed to see a place like that anyway. He was born here...Mac thought? Eh, maybe he was being way too brash or childish about it. But well, maybe it could be an opportunity to see some old friends again. Maybe take up on that offer Erika gave him and visit her gym. Or see how Lyra was doing in Johto. And if N was able to meet up with him, Mac would like that very much. Seriously, what in goodness name was stopping him. Something fun and new. Mac liked fun and new. He oughta think more about this...

Hell, while he was on it? Maybe he needed to go to New York again...Mac missed the WVBA. He missed Doc. He'd talked to him, of course. Kept in contact. But he dared not talk about the murder. Never. Ever. When he stayed on that thought, he moved his hand to his big scar. Still red and gross. He thought about Caim. Then he thought about Rhys.

Then Doc called. Oh.


Guess it's been a while, huh. Got called for some WVBA business finally. Guess I oughta get outta that lil' ol' hiatus I apparently took, haha.

That leads me to another question. Anyone know a good place to go to in Kanto? Johto? Unova? As long as I'm takin' care of Rocky here, I think a visit to a place like that oughta be good for us both.
