[Action] Enter the sandstorm.
[In the morning when Blue wakes up, Acacia lets herself out of her ball to greet her momma before the day starts. Normally, she'd go out for a bit to get some fresh air and stretch her legs before returning to the room to relax. However, today shall be a different day. A break in the cycle, if you will.
The Sandslash has been getting a little restless in her ball for some time now and finally decides that today is the day she is going to take up a human form. So, wanting to surprise her momma and little bro, she sneakily approaches the crazy headmaster to enroll as a student and acquire a transformation accessory. And, tempting as it is to make a grand and showy announcement of her presence over the network, the Sandslash decides she'd rather personally greet everybody and surprise her family and friends in the flesh. That would create a better, lasting impact, she believes. So, here you have a spiky brown haired girl roaming about the campus looking for her family and aiming to strike up a conversation with anyone interesting.
Will youunfortunately be within sight of Acacia? Approach her? Avoid her?]

Gulp.
"I... uh. I don't know much about 'em either, yet. Trying to learn, though."
Man, what were other manners you were supposed to use with people? Wasn't he forgetting something kind of important? Oh, wait!
"...my name is Knuckles. Knuckles the Echidna."
no subject
"It's my first time meeting an Echidna. You look pretty cool."
no subject
"Uhh... Acacia." he managed to say through a dry throat. "That's... Nice."
She thought Echidnas looked cool? He had no idea what a Sandslash was, to be honest. But he wasn't surprised she'd never seen one of his kind, considering he was the last one.
"....thanks. I think you look cool too."
Were you supposed to tell girls they looked cool? Was that an appropriate compliment? Didn't they like being called pretty more than cool? The thought of saying something like that, though, made his cheeks burn even redder. He wouldn't dare be so forward!

"Thanks! I'm glad you think so!" He totally won points with her for that. And his blushing was amazingly adorable. What a cutie.
"These spikes are awesome too," she complimented as she gently touched the tips of them with her fingers. She found it funny how there were two on each hand, much like the way she had two claws for each hand. She'd bet hers were stronger though. "You seem like a fighter, though that must be a given if you're studying here."

Hey, at least she could tell he was a fighter. That must mean he didn't look too foolish, even if he was tongue tied and hardly able to string together a sentence.
"I'm a real good fighter. It's one of my favorite things to do, actually."

That seemed to bring him out of his shell a little. He was still red in the cheeks, but he grinned up at her.
"What kinda fighting do you like to do? You're a student, here?"
no subject
"So far, I've only done Pokemon battles. I'd like to try fighting as a human. Seems interesting. Shouldn't be too difficult, either. Things like Mixed Martial Arts and Krav Maga sound fun, don'tcha think? Though I wouldn't be using the latter much for defense. Combat and aggression at its finest, yo."
