Their eyes met, and in that glance Vinnie's expression conveyed all the uncertainty he wasn't saying. He really didn't know what he felt about this - but it was definitely more a success for Bulba than it was for him.
His bold nature was desperate to say something, though - anything so that he wasn't a near silent wallflower - but it was still a moment between brothers. He didn't have a right to intrude on that and turn it into something about himself and the Charizard.
Despite this, though, Vinnie's mouth opened up anyway and he started saying,] Char...
