Ike paused, taking her words in to heavy consideration. She'd been here for half of a year and couldn't find her homeland somehow. It sounded like she was speaking to his case as well, which could only mean that he was stranded. Somehow, the way to get back home would be elusive. His brow furrowed. He didn't like what he was hearing, but it was the answer he'd been looking for. Somebody finally gave it to him.
"Huh," he finally replied. "That's a strange answer. But I believe you. You're the first person who has given me an idea about what I'm dealing with, at least." The outlook wasn't all that great, but it was what it was. "So that explains why the headmasters told me to stay, too."
They'd told her to stay, from the looks of it. Because really, there wasn't any other option, and it was a long time to stay separated from home against your will.
