"I didn't mean it!" She retorted, sinking into a seated position with her back against the wall. "You were just...there! And naked! And...what is all that all over you is that blood!?"

Though she certainly felt a little bad about it, a large part of Aoi felt she was more than justified, especially because more and more things were occurring to her.

"It was a reflex, and you--"

That's right--in yelling about naked Mondo and falling down the stairs, Aoi had completely forgotten a few very important details about the last time she'd seen him, and sprung to her feet, ready to give him a piece of her mind.

"You deserve it, for what you did to Fujisaki! If he'd just...gone to train with me and Sakura instead, neither of you would be--"

She bent down and smacked him on the arm but had to stop herself there, suddenly feeling completely overwhelmed. The end of the sentence, of course, was dead, but they were both here, at this school, very much alive, and Aoi still didn't know what to think about that. An awful, jealous part of her was angry that all these dead classmates were here but Sakura--who hadn't killed anyone and gave her own life to save the rest of them--was not.

And that should have been more than enough to justify punching Mondo in the dick, but Aoi didn't feel any better because of it. In fact, she felt worse. They'd all been victims of circumstance, manipulated into turning on each other and killing by Junko. Mondo had been no different, and taking out her frustration on him wasn't fair, even if he had caused her to fall down the stairs.

It occurred to her that she'd been angrily pacing without even realizing it, a hot sting in her eyes. She tried to wipe it away, to little success.

"Ishimaru was looking for you. He's really worried."
