He thought a moment about whether or not he really wanted to answer the priest's questions, especially now that it was clear he wasn't going to be of any help. If there was any chance that Rhys could reverse this at all, though...
"It wasn't like this yesterday." Garrett answered flatly. "I didn't notice anything until argh!!"
He doubled over as excruciating pain shot up from his fingertips all the way to his shoulder. It only lasted a few seconds but it felt like an eternity of sharp needles coming out of the skin and bones shifting in ways they weren't supposed to. When it finally faded, he righted himself and surveyed the damage: even more feathers, and his hand looked... different. Elongated, almost.
