[Eirika's tone sounds more to the point than the previously perplexed position she was in. Diplomatically, anyway. For her, the stay in the academy is almost more of an investigation, as if she was crossing lines into Grado territory and reporting back to her brother. Except she's never been in a situation like that and no one there would ever allow her to. Not willingly, anyway.]
It would seem that Prince Innes was not incorrect with his judgment of this academy and its town. In spite of the appearances on the outside, there is far more to this place than an initial glance would give. Different societies, worlds, cultures, luxuries, and advancements at the fingertips. Yet anything that progresses the loss of human life is not an advancement I'd care to use so nonchalantly.
[Sitting back in her chair, her posture is still too straight, too dignified, and she likely 'fits in' as well as she did arriving in armour with rapier in hand. Her head tips up and she eyes the ceiling above her.]
Talking animals, royalty with cooking skills, gardens, and blue skies. Amidst the pending chaos and ironic atmosphere, there is, at times, a sense of peace I get on the slightest occasion. The poor things aside, perhaps my brother and Seth would not find themselves miserable here. [She seems to think on that for a few moments, inwardly deciding she still prefers it if no one from Magvel should arrive. Not when the situation has presented itself as Shadow explained it.]
If I may address an inquiry to the public, those of you who have remained here for some time, why have you stayed? What is it here that ties your presence? Obligation or heart?

[Kyogre is perched entirely upside down on his bed, knees pointed to the ceiling, and head hanging over the side of the mattress. The computer must be on the floor, and he looks into it with bored, half lidded eyes. Tainted Love is playing, tinny, from the radio, but he is humming Sweet Dreams. He blinks.]
It's getting warm outside. Does anyone need tutoring? I should open up my office hours again, mmn... I've been so lethargic.
[He reaches off screen and grabs a glass of water. Rather than turn over and drink from it, he just dumps it over his face.]
Waaaaagh. I was really diggin' the cooler weather too, y'know? Oh well. All good things must come to an end. How are you all faring? The warmer weather brings heightened passions. May not be the best thing considering the more aggressive members of the community...
[He presses a button on a small remote, and the entry ends abruptly.]

[If you happened to run into the Traditional Weaponry teacher this week, it was probably in the library. Surprising to no one, he actually found some literature regarding the legends of his homeland, and he was perusing the texts, flipping the pages. His laptop will usually be open on the same table, and if you looked over his shoulder, you would see a Moogle search on masks.]

The snow is melting. Graduation is on its way. If you're a senior and you're taking my class, you don't get a pass. If you fail, you fail. You can graduate next year. So don't slack off just because spring break is coming.
[That's all he has to say, it seems...]

[But later, a small package is left outside of Tsubaki's dorm room. Inside is a necklace with an intricate brass design as the centerpiece. There is no note, but it should be obvious who it's from.]
