[Video feed gives way to a mostly dark room. A lamp in the far corner is dim, implying the bulb is likely on its last 'limbs'. Caim sits at his desk, so like the one he had before. Almost everything is the same, except the layout is a little different and the wall once filled with a mural in the making - later covered in black - is no longer there.
Idly the prince wonders what might have come of his room.
He makes no initial movements, simply sits and stares at his monitor. He seems more like a silhouette in those moments, but eventually his hands move. A bracelet on his left wrist makes a very soft sound as it meets his desk.]
Divine providence. It delights me not.
[It seems as good a greeting as any.]

I had meant to locate someone important to me and evidently that was grounds for being quite literally trapped in an overabundance of other 'worlds'.
[Even as he explains it, Caim still feels like that sounds like so much bullshit. Except it's true.]

Someone here? Y'mean Ai, or...?
[Mac is on his guard, he told himself he would take care of Ai through anything Caim related since it was noticeably hard for her. Is he here for her?]
[text]
[Oh, Mac. Have a kicker.]
I imagine you did not know before as I kept it private information and very few were aware, however I have a younger sister. She also attended this academy, and currently does.
[text]
...Sister?
[Does she even know of...?]
And ya haven't talked with her yet?
[Concerning.]
She doesn't know of anythin' does she?
[text]
Most things concerning my sister are to be approached delicately.
[His sister the goddess. His sister the very 'saviour' of mankind. His sister who sacrificed everything for what she believed the better good with be. Caim's hatred has blinded him for many years regarding such. With his return, he finds the distinct position as her older brother in a far more serious light.]
Despite her fragile nature, however, my sister does not share my traits - or my crimes. She is good and kind, even more so knowing how I was in our homeland, and never doing anything other than supporting my position.
[text]
[No, he really was. He honestly just spoke out of the sheer lack of knowledge on the whole thing. Never did he assume his sister was a horrible person (but Mac didn't see Caim as a horrible person either). But if he sounded that way...he was sorry. And it's not easy to break bad stuff you do to a nice person, who happens to be family.]
She sounds like a great person. And y'know, no one can understand you better than family.
[text]
She is a good person. I imagine you two will cross paths eventually as she is here. I think you would be a valuable ally to her. I am of no position to request your assistance for anything, but for her comfort, I would appreciate it if you could contribute to a welcoming atmosphere here.
[It's a side of him that he doesn't let other people often see. Most don't deserve to see it. He's thinking ahead, however, in the case that Vianca, or someone else, gets him apprehended. Caim's aware he cannot protect Furiae if something should happen to him. And he trusts Mac to step up where he cannot.]
[text]
Don't hafta ask me twice, 'course I will do that. I'd be more than happy to. I'm sure she's even great company.
[text]
[All of that is foreign to him. Caim might have considered people like Seere, Arioch, and Leonard friends, but they all had things in common. They were all victims and ultimately, they had their own ends and weren't as fortunate as he was to survive. Never mind that Seere had been at the academy for a short period of time.]
