[Action] Enter the sandstorm.
[In the morning when Blue wakes up, Acacia lets herself out of her ball to greet her momma before the day starts. Normally, she'd go out for a bit to get some fresh air and stretch her legs before returning to the room to relax. However, today shall be a different day. A break in the cycle, if you will.
The Sandslash has been getting a little restless in her ball for some time now and finally decides that today is the day she is going to take up a human form. So, wanting to surprise her momma and little bro, she sneakily approaches the crazy headmaster to enroll as a student and acquire a transformation accessory. And, tempting as it is to make a grand and showy announcement of her presence over the network, the Sandslash decides she'd rather personally greet everybody and surprise her family and friends in the flesh. That would create a better, lasting impact, she believes. So, here you have a spiky brown haired girl roaming about the campus looking for her family and aiming to strike up a conversation with anyone interesting.
Will youunfortunately be within sight of Acacia? Approach her? Avoid her?]

Will you
spiky fast people of the world unite

Quietly, she stepped up beside him, acting as if she was interested in the boards (and to some extent, she was, but she could always look at the postings later).]
Sup. Looking for something in particular?
no subject
Um, uh... N-not really. Just in general, I guess. Sorry if I was in... your way...
[Oh. He didn't recognize her.]
...Exc-cuse me, ma'am, are you a new student here?
no subject
Nope! You're not in my way, so don't be sorry. I am a new student, though. So you're right about that. My name's Acacia, and you are?
no subject
P...
[C'mon.]
Pulseman. Or, just Pulse. ...It's nice to meet you.
[There's something about this person that's causing Pulse to get all worked up, and it's not just... He can't figure it out, and that makes him even more anxious.]
no subject
Pulse? That's a very unique name. It's real nice meeting you.
[She noted how flustered he was and grinned.]
Is something the matter?
no subject
Uhhhh ththtthank you.
[It was when he saw her grin when two pieces finally slid together and clicked in his head: one was Riwane, the cheerful, friendly human who was also a Charizard, one of the first people he met after moving to the school. The second was his encounter with a Drilbur on one of his nature walks to observe Bug pokemon in the woods. He felt the same lack of sensory feedback, like a complete and utter void in his electrosensitivity, as he did around Acacia; he might not have noticed it so much if she hadn't been in such near-immediate proximity to him.]
mMMmmaaam I apologize if this sounds forward or intrusive and it is probably some of both and I'm sorry if I inadvertently insult you but are you a pokemon and if so are you also a Ground type?
no subject
[Haha, look at you backed up against the wall. Acacia's just going to take anooother step forward. Don't mind her as she gets a little friendly.]
You know, your helmet's kinda cool. Does it come off? [she says as she lightly runs her fingers on its pointy, uh, tip.]
no subject
[Wait, he was right?]
The... thing...
[He hadn't had to explain himself, his powers, or how they worked to anyone in a rather long while, so his brain's a little fuzzy on what to say.]
You're naturally immune to electricity, so...
[BAD TOUCH]
No it doesn't I'm sorry please don't touch thank you.
[Though space was rather limited, he was able to turn his head, still regarding Acacia with one large blue eye.]
no subject
[She still stayed rather close though.]
So, if I wasn't a ground type, would I have been electrocuted? I'm not quite sure I understand what you're saying. Though, since I'm in my human form [damn that sounded great to say. Yeahhhhh human forms.] I should have felt a shock, at least? If that were the case. Could you elaborate?
no subject
No, not unless... well... It's really sensitive, and... I'm not certain if I would have been able to keep from doing so, if you, uh, persisted.
[The mere speculation that he might have shocked her, disturbing as it may be, helped to calm him down somewhat. Not that he wanted to hurt her, of course. Still, he didn't feel entirely powerless anymore.]
no subject
SO TEMPTING.... It would even be worth the shock.]
So are you an android? Or, like, half and half?
[She poked his cheek.]
This part looks and feels pretty human.
no subject
[Mark down "getting poked in the cheek" as one sensation Pulse was most certainly not overly familiar with. Well, at least not by anyone other than himself, nor so unexpectedly. It definitely caught him off-guard, causing his speech to break up in a humorless defensive laugh as he worked on coming to terms with the fact that the lady was touching his face. Perhaps she was just a hands-on kind of person. Some people are like that. Not everyone can just feel stuff out with an innate electrical aura, of course. He reached up with one hand in a half-hearted gesture of brushing her hand away.]
I'm an electrace. Half human and half C-Life. ...C-Life being an advanced creative artificial intelligence. Nothing mechanical, though.
[He had some experience with people assuming he was talking about fish whenever he mentioned "C-Life" anywhere outside of his homeworld.]
And, uh, yeah, that's my only... exposed skin, I guess.
no subject
Hmm... electrace. [Sounded like a legit species, though she had never heard of it before.] That's a fitting name. And sea life... I can't imagine you mean the body of water, so you must be referring to the letter 'C', right? Maybe for cyber? Either way, you sound pretty neat.
[She didn't completely understand what he was, but that added a little bit of fun and mystery.]
You say you're nothing mechanical, so underneath all that [she eyed his features down and up] you have somewhat of a normal human body?
