[The feed flicks on. At first you see a white mass with inky eyes (and red markings if you're a believer) sniffing the camera, checking to see if it's on. Amaterasu decided that it is functioning, and ducks out of sight for a minute. Some shuffling can be heard off to the side, like she's looking for something.

She returns to the camera with something in her mouth. It appears to be a young sapling, bright green in color even though it's still in its transport bag. Sacred rope and paper is tied around this sapling.

Ammy tries to give a muffled bark despite the plant in her mouth. She'd like to plant it somewhere very soon, and would anyone know of a good spot?]

[Oh hello, you've attracted someone's attention. Erika's face flickers on the screen, and she looks awful curious about what this pretty wolf is doing. That sapling looks vaguely familiar but... Hm.]

Ah... That looks very healthy.

Are you... perhaps looking for a home for it?

[Seeing as it's in that bag and such.]

[Amaterasu nods, wagging her tail. It's a very special tree with very special needs.]

[A pleasantly affirmative answer. Erika is already going over the grounds in her head, cupping her chin a bit in thought.]

Hmm. There are several nice spots open in the gardens...

Perhaps you'd like to take a walk with me?

[The wolf tilts her head. Where could they rendezvous to, er, discuss this further?]

[Erika tilts her head in turn. The wolf is sadly not a grass type, so Erika is making guesses at what this exchange was intended to mean.]

Outside?

[Muffled bark of acknowledgement. She realizes that much, but where are you right now, lady in the computer?]

[She does not understand these barks ;_; But she will venture an offer, since she is not sure where Miss Wolf is at either.]

Do you know where the teacher's dormitories are? I could find you outside there.

[Oh! That sounds like a great idea. She disappears from view, leaving the feed running.]

[CRASH! went the door to Waka's room. Now she should be easy to find! (They don't call her hard-headed Ammy for nothing.)

[Goodness she heard that in surround sound. Erika shut off her own feed and hurried off to the door, peeking out into the hallway.

Oh.

Hello there, Miss Wolf. You are out of the room ~~and looking so handsome?~~.]

Ah... I did not realize you were so close!

[Indeed she is. She trots up to the source of the voice, tail wagging. That's one down, one to go. Now, where's that clock tower?]

Shall we go then?

[And so she shuts her room door with a smile. That's... unfortunate for the other door. Oops.

The clock tower is conveniently in sight once you leave the dorms. It's just straight across the quads! You'll have to get Erika's attention once you're outside though, Ammy, or she'll walk right off towards the gardens.]

[She temporarily puts down the sapling to bark to Erika, pointing her nose in the direction of the clock tower.]

[She blinks and turns, looking towards the clock tower. She does not think too much about it beyond "well the green house is in that direction."]

Oh, you'd like to go that way?

[Well then.]

Then that way we shall go.

[Oh hi guys.

Good thing the clock tower wasn't much of a detour from the teacher's dorms to the green house. Vinnie was already there. Wasn't too hard to spot a white wolf from a distance, but it didn't surprise him to see that Erika was with her.

He waved.] Hey!

[Amaterasu slowed her pace as she approached Vinnie. She gently set the Sapling on the ground, not wanting to bite into it too hard and cause damage. Human hands were much more careful about this sort of thing.]

[Erika's surprise at seeing Vinnie was brief. She probably should have been expecting him, honestly. She gave him a nod and a smile.]

Hello there. I take it you're here to help find a home for her?

'Course. Thought you'd be in the greenhouse already.

[He gently picked up the sapling, giving it a close examination. Funny, now that he was up close to it and all... well, he wasn't sure what this feeling was, but being near it made him feel warm inside. Happier, somehow. There was something special about the young tree.

He muttered mostly to himself (seeing how wolves couldn't speak and all).] Now, where'd you get a sapling like this...?

[Amaterasu tilted her head. Honestly she didn't even realize it was there until she noticed Waka holding it en route to the Celestial Plains.

She'd heard that there was a place full of trees like Konohana somewhere, but she had never gotten the chance to locate it.]

We had to locate each other first.

[It was a quiet explanation, as she was far more distracted by the sapling now in Vinnie's hands. It was quite different from any Erika had the privilege of seeing in person, now that she really got a chance to look at it. Her fingertips hovered over some of the sacred seals, not quite daring to touch them. This was a very special sapling indeed.

She drew her hand away and gave the wolf another small smile.]

There are a few very nice spots in the garden... I'm sure Vinnie would know of a few places himself. We'll find her a good home.

[Vinnie's suggestion came out before he could really understand why, but for some reason it felt right.]

You think she'd like to be with the other cherry blossom trees?

[Konohana's roots extended far and wide. Amaterasu had found them in the strangest of places-- some situated in a place where they could watch over the area they guarded, some secluded from the elements to grow strong.

She wasn't sure how Sakuya's thought process worked, or if there even was one...]

[They clearly worked however they pleased.

Erika considered it a moment, giving a small nod of her head.]

I think that'd be an excellent place to start.

[~~Also Sakuya was a babe do you think you could introduce us~~

Vinnie made a motion to pass the sapling into Erika's hands.]

I can drop by the greenhouse t'pick up a shovel an'shit, if you wanna show Snowy here where the trees are.
